This time it was built with the correct current version of the Cultural Protocol in mind, the one from April 2021 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=642699).

Ethnic and religion changes are the same as in the previous attempt, and the justification is the same.

This update now makes no mention of Deltarian colonial rule or the Cyrillic script. It only recognizes Tajik as the main language in Aldegar, something already introduced by the most recent version of the Cultural Protocol (the one from April 2021). It makes no mention regarding the script used to write the language, giving players freedom in that regard.

Differences from the current version:

Turjak (Turkish) is designated as the sole official language, while Kalopian (Greek) and Majatran (Arabic) are recognised as minority languages.

I'm not quite sure that the change in the language status makes much sense, is there reason to support such a change?

From what I've seen, only Turkish is used concerning Jakania wiki pages and role-play laws, even before I started playing in Jakania. For example, only Turkish translation of the country name is stated on Jakania page. Names of public offices or notable organisations are also written in only Turkish. The change is also consistent with the nationalist policies of my current party, like this bill and news article.

I'd be supportive of this should the decision to be made to continue RP to support some suppression of minority languages (Kalopian, etc.) and enforce Turjak being taught.

I want to provide the update that this is the officially recognized Cultural Protocol of Lodamun (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=685272) and is Moderation approved, it appears that it got lost in the mess of the topic.
