Here's an idea. Why not change the registration thing to require new users to enter their party's ID number (the number at the end of the URL, as in http://classic.particracy.net/viewparty ... tyid=NNNNN) and check if that party exists? Since the spambots aren't actually registered in Particracy, that could stop them fairly well.

Sounds interesting, but I'm quite unsure how effective or how it can be done. I'll contact Wouter though.
