New budget issues

Postby Akhrin » Tue Feb 02, 2010 1:31 pm

Trying to sort the budget of Kafuristan so that, you know, we actually spend some of this tax money. Problem is all I'm allowed to propose is 0 KAF. No mention of which department, no ability to edit any of it, just nothing :( My poor Kafurs have been oppressed for too long, don't they deserve a government?

If we pay Wouter, he will develop whatever we can afford to pay him to.

But I'm not wrong for thinking that budgets used to work, right?

It doesn't work in a few countries (Talmoria, Lourenne, and I think Kafuristan as well---but don't hold me to that last one). You can just pass bills (for RP purposes only) saying how much you want to spend on each ministry and treat it like a spending bill. That's as much as I can recommend right now.

Nope, Jess fucked up when he was in kafuristan. After I took reign from his hands I noticed the problem. Somehow a measure he proposed screwed the Kafuri system.

So nothing will be done until someone pays him?

It's not JUST that. I assume Wouter's time is very limited. But we are trying to develop a plan to see if further development can be accomplished. I don't think it has moved forward much lately though.

Hutori is another nation with this same issue.

For everybody in an affected nation, try logging in to Particracy, then going to this URL:
http://classic.particracy.net/newspendi ... ate=Update

It should go to the budget proposal screen, allocating a million to each of the thirteen ministries (whereupon you can edit the amounts).
I don't know whether this will work or not, but it's worth a try :)
