Revolutions

We recently had a revolution in Kalopia, and in RP we killed off the former royal family. Several other players had some concerns about talking to moderators about this move.
I humbly request moderator advice on this matter, since if you read our newsfeed: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=44, we were pretty thorough with the whole revolution thing, including going all French on the former monarchs. So what do we do now?

As the original owner of the royal family, I'm okay with the monarch and most of his family being killed, but since I need the House of Islyn to survive somewhere, either there could be an article that one relative seems to have made it, or I'll just go along with some cousin or so who didn't live in Kalopia. It's not a big deal, basically, I was just surprised to see the family killed as a whole.
