My Cabinet didn't pass...

Ok, so I won the election, and proposed a cabinet straight away. For some reason it came up as defeated even though I had enough votes to pass it. And it was defeated before the end of the month. What happened?

I know I am not a moderator but i can anwser this question for you, you do not have 2/3rds of the nations vote needed to pass. You have the majority, but that is not quite enough.

A cabinet just needs a majority to pass.

So, is it supposed to be a majority or a 2/3 vote?

Also, could the reason also be because a similar Cabinet proposal made on the same game month already got passed?

Just a majority and yea similar cabinet in the same month seems to be the reason.

Similar problem here. This cabinet proposal had the support of all parties involved, and it was voted unanimously, so by all accounts it should have passed.

Not to mention the fact that the Cabinet proposal was supposed to be closed on October 3136. It's still September 3136 in my last check, so it should still be pending instead of being defeated automatically.

I have this exact problem. I submitted two cabinet proposals, both of which had sufficient votes and both of which were defeated long before the deadline.
