PaleRider, a number of -- in fact, most of -- those treaties have active ratifiers, and should not be deleted!

Please don't try to trick Aquinas into deleting them!

http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... eatyid=233 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... eatyid=720 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... eatyid=851 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... eatyid=946 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1035 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1047 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1066 :(
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1105 active ratifier, should not be deleted

http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1177 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1178 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1194 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1220 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1296 active ratifier, should not be deleted. Furthermore, the treaty author is also an active party, which is sufficient to prevent deletion even if the treaty hadn't had any active ratifying nations.
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1297 active ratifier, should not be deleted. The treaty author is also an active party.
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1298 active ratifier, should not be deleted. The treaty author is also an active party.
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1370 :(
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1372 :(
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1391 active ratifier, should not be deleted (and a very important treaty in Particracy's history....)
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1412 :(

http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1448 :(
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1506 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1552 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1537 has two active ratifiers, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1538 has three active ratifiers!, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1552 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1597 has two active ratifiers, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1619 has two active ratifiers, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1623 active ratifier, should not be deleted

http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1662 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1667 :(
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1668 :(
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1678 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1688 :( (currently has a pending ratification attempt bill in one nation, but I don't believe that's sufficient to prevent deletion. I would be delighted to be proven wrong on this specific particular point, of course.)

(... I glanced back to the previous page, and found a possible precedent? Although, that might have concerned a ratification attempt being
voted on at that time, so perhaps not. I don't know, sorry.)

http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1697 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1714 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1717 active ratifier, should not be deleted
http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreat ... atyid=1734 active ratifier, should not be deleted

So, in all, that's eight that indeed have no active ratifiers at this moment ... and twenty-eight cruelly falsely accused.
(treaty 1552 having been listed twice)

One, two, -- or even three -- could be a plausible honest mistake, I guess. After all, we all make mistakes.
But twenty-eight out of 36, I don't think so.

I have followed a procedure, which I believe to be correct and which Lucca appears to agree with, of deleting only those Treaties where:

i. The Treaty is not currently ratified by any nation or in the active/recent process of being ratified by a nation.

ii. The in-game user account of the Treaty's author/drafter is inactive.

So most of the Treaties Pale listed have not been deleted. That said, may I just make clear I don't suspect him of any deliberate mischievousness/skulduggery here :D .

What happened to the KFS treaty?
It was required for my spreadsheet to work properly.
I fixed the spreadsheet now so that it can work without it, but I would really like to know why it was suddenly deleted.

It was ratified by more than 10 countries.
It existed until very recently, because it was able to be in this bill that was created exactly 4 days ago.

For the sake of the RP, and to add in-character value to the spreadsheet, I would like to have a treaty again and restore the function it had in the spreadsheet. I want assurance that Moderation won't arbitrarily delete the treaty without giving a reason.
Check out my latest Particracy project, and feel free to discuss it in the forums.

Over the past few days I have spent time removing dead treaties from the Treaties page, which as some players will know, contained a huge number of treaties - many of them dead. There were so many of them there that the page took some time to load up (at least for me, anyway).

I sincerely apologise that your KFS treaty was removed in error, and I am sorry this crashed your spreadsheet. Following this incident, I have resolved to work through that page more slowly and carefully the next time I attend to it.

How did my treaty end up being caught in that, when it had a double-digit number of ratifications?

I have no memory of removing that particular treaty, but I presume it was a manual error on my part.

Next time, just get a better internet connection. It was not that particular treaty's fault that the page was taking long to load for you.
