"Hellenic" is the in-game turn for the civilization existing before the nation of Kalopia, which is based on Greece.

So why couldn't the Indian parties in Aloria put "Indian" in their party names and base Aloria on India?
The word "Hellenic" isn't something made up in-game. It's the actual name of Greece today - The Hellenic Republic. The Retcon should have cleared that up.

It is my opinion that there is a difference between putting "Hellenic" and "Greek" in a party name. "Hellenic" comes from the language of greek, which is a language of Kalopia (I forget what the In-game name is). The word "Hellenic" could be made to come from that language. It is different from calling it "Greek" (which comes from latin) or "India" or "British" etc. It is like calling a language a "romance" language (which is used in particracy). The Alorians could base Aloria on India and use "Bharat" instead of Indian.

"Hellenic" is still a RL word, even if it is used more as an endonym. It is just as against the rules as "Indian Alorian", "Welsh", "Celtic", "French", or "Romance", all of which are still in use in Particracy. The rules are pretty clear on the matter of RL names and terms, and using alternate names like "Bharat" for "Indian" does not solve the problem.

Very well, than I suppose that the word Kalopian can be used. However "romance" may still be used because it does not always mean something originating in Rome. The explanation could be that those languages sound romantic. But I do concede on "Hellenic".
