Cultural vandalism in Cobura

Postby RPC » Tue Jun 12, 2012 2:30 pm

The Respublikana Partio (http://classic.particracy.net/viewparty ... rtyid=8563) is attempting to change Cobura's culture back to another anglo-american clone, in spite of the fact that Cobura now has a developed culture which has been developed over several years by many players. We recently passed the cultural protocols (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=349873) in order to prevent such cultural vandalism, but he is undeterred. It is rather odd that this party should take this course of action, considering that they quite willingly changed their party name to fit with the new language. One can only assume they have taken this present course out of spite. Can the mods please assure us that Cobura will be protected from these acts of petty and vindictive vandalism?

The first bill, the one repealing the Cultural Protocols, is invalid, as long as it hasn't got the support of 2/3rds of the players. The second bill is not completely invalid, as long as game mechanics are concerned, since they cannot be protected by the cultural protocols. The nation name change, however, is invalid.

The Protocols can only be repealed with 2/3rds of the players in the nation.
