Organisations for deletion

Postby Aquinas » Tue May 31, 2016 12:45 pm

12. Party Organisations.

12.1 A Party Organisation will be eligible for deletion if it is more than 30 IG (in-game) years old and does not have a minimum of 1 active member ("active member" meaning an active member who has leadership or full member status)

Organisations may be reported for deletion on the Organisations for deletion thread.

12.2 A leaderless organisation is an organisation with no active leaders. When an organisation is leaderless, a party with full member status may receive leadership status by posting a link to both their party and the organisation on the Organisation leadership requests thread. In exceptional circumstances, Moderation reserves the discretion to deny leadership requests.

12.3 If a player uses an inactive account within an organisation to raise or demote a party from leadership, then Moderation reserves the discretion to reverse the changes if this action is challenged by another player.

The members of this organization have agreed that we will shut it down so that I can set up a new one, with a different name, to replace it.

Also, can I ask why there's no option to change organization names, or an in-game button for founders to delete organizations? Especially when you can't run more than one at a time, this system is pretty impractical, with having to come here and request its deletion, then setting up a whole new one. :/

Messaged you in game about this to ensure that you got my reply swiftly.

Unfortunately that option is not available since the game has not been developed in that particular area.

The organisation has been deleted, as per the procedure for organisations without active leaders.

The International Patriotic Parties has been deleted as it no longer has an active leader.

Could you delete this?

http://classic.particracy.net/vieworgan ... ionid=4170

I have no idea how much influence you have on the matter, but could you maybe consider creating a "delete" button on organizations? That only the leader could use (if there are multiple leaders or if it has many members, then I guess it wouldn't work, but still). This is the second organization I've had to delete because I want to set up a new one. If no delete button, then maybe letting parties set up more than 1 organization each, like 2-3? Thanks anyway :)

Done. As for your question, Moderators don't have access to the game's code and that sounds like something that would require some kind of coding magic. Only Wouter could theoretically do this but given that game development is currently suspended, it is highly unlikely that such a button could be created.
