Requests: Party Organisations [M]

Postby Moderation » Tue May 31, 2016 12:45 pm

6. Users can request leadership of a party organization if they are the only active member (in rare/exceptional circumstances a candidate can be made a leader). Requests are to be made HERE. Moderation and the GRC reserve the right to query, deny or approve requests for leadership;
-- 6a. Party organizations will be eligible for deletion if it more than 30 in-game years old and does not have 1 minimum active member (meaning a member who has an active account, with either leadership or full member status).
-- 6b. The use of an inactive account with a leadership role in a party organization that is used to promote/demote others within the organization can request Moderation to determine the legitimacy of the changes.

Please note the Organization Leadership and the Organization Deletion requests have been merged.
This account is for administrative purposes only. For queries or information, please contact a Moderator personally.

The members of this organization have agreed that we will shut it down so that I can set up a new one, with a different name, to replace it.

Also, can I ask why there's no option to change organization names, or an in-game button for founders to delete organizations? Especially when you can't run more than one at a time, this system is pretty impractical, with having to come here and request its deletion, then setting up a whole new one. :/

Unfortunately that option is not available since the game has not been developed in that particular area.

The organisation has been deleted, as per the procedure for organisations without active leaders.

The International Patriotic Parties has been deleted as it no longer has an active leader.

Could you delete this?

http://classic.particracy.net/vieworgan ... ionid=4170

I have no idea how much influence you have on the matter, but could you maybe consider creating a "delete" button on organizations? That only the leader could use (if there are multiple leaders or if it has many members, then I guess it wouldn't work, but still). This is the second organization I've had to delete because I want to set up a new one. If no delete button, then maybe letting parties set up more than 1 organization each, like 2-3? Thanks anyway :)

Done. As for your question, Moderators don't have access to the game's code and that sounds like something that would require some kind of coding magic. Only Wouter could theoretically do this but given that game development is currently suspended, it is highly unlikely that such a button could be created.
