The above bill has been an informal/voluntary role-play law in Aldegar for some time. When it was first passed I deliberately made clear that it would not be enforced by Moderation. At the moment I am trying to make a decision about how to take my role-play forward. As part of this, I was wondering whether Moderation would be able to offer an opinion about whether a role-play law like this would be considered enforceable under section 6.5c of the Game Rules.

Personally I am not aware of any comparable role-play law in the past and I recognise that it is a very restrictive law that would seem to undermine much of the point a game based around political parties. Nonetheless, I don't see any harm in seeking a judgement. Thanks in advance!

This type of RP law does not require approval from Moderation as it does not have a profound effect on constitutional law, governance, parties, etc.

For reference, situations in which approval is required are listed in section 6.5 of the game rules, however in any case you are unsure of the need for approval, it would be safest to consult Moderation anyway.

Moderation will not be approving either of these laws. The first as we don't feel it is enforceable or justifiable to reserve the HoS position to be used exclusively by a single party/player. The second we also don't find it enforceable or right to give the HoS the authority to ignore the national legislature (which in this bill is relegated to an "advisory body"), and could cause issue in the future if other players join Ikradon.
