I have a question. Do RP institutions such as a Military Commission or National Security Council need an approval of 2/3rds of the vote or just a simple majority. Thank you.

I guess it would depend on the powers that they have. I would say that a normal security council or military council would likely not have "dictatorial" powers, while they might posses the right to promote/demote/fire/etc I think thats inherit in a military structure.

http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=613804 (State Defense Law)
http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=614369 (Amendment to the State Defense Law)

In fairness, I was looking for the post where these were approved and I wanted to make sure that if I did indeed forget to post them that I get them formally approved (though I remember a discussion about them somewhere). So the above two define some RP-related laws which prohibit the establishment of most political parties within the nation, notably those that are considered to be left wing, socialist, communist, broadly liberal, anti-monarchist, anti-nobility and generally republican. These topics have been cracked down on prior to the passage of the law and cracked down on continually since the passage of the law.

So its a Senate that only has authority to provide a second vote on RP Laws, not normal laws that are passed?

and, for the sake of me having at least said it, you all understand that any RP laws that provide any sort of extraordinary powers, dictatorial powers or generally provide power and authority outside of game mechanics it needs to come to Moderation for approval?
