Well done for catching him out, Amazeroth.

I hate to sound like an impatient asshole, but when will the Pax Cynica II be published?

First of all my respect and gratitude for your wonderful game and your splendid work!

However I am a bit desperated because I cannot win one bloody election in my country Selucia. I do not understand that I have all policies the people want and still I am loosing votes! I want to complain because i can not longer believe that this can be right!

The last election: http://classic.particracy.net/viewnews. ... sid=397382

Join the club, Leonardo. Most long-term players have had this experience at some point. "Blame the algorithm", we say ;).

Seriously, though - with 46% of the vote you weren't far away from victory. Better luck next time, maybe!

Although a bit of a gravedig and a rehash of several PMs to several people, just to post a reply on this now the dust has settled:

It should be a "Pax Amazerothia*" if anything, detailing the policy to which all players shall be held accountable during his reign.

My code was too specific and time-consuming to be enforcable by its author (although it wasn't when originally conceived 4 years prior, times change, etc.), so it was unsuitable for purpose. It is not for us to judge what should be practical enough to follow, as that depends on circumstances.

If all moderators make their "Peace" with the community like this, the whirlwind of expectation will be tempered by pragmatism and mutual respect will hopefully follow.

Cynica was a palace that became a tomb. Never again.

(*I do not profess to be an authority of latin conjugation. Mine was a pun on Pax Sinica.)

Could someone tell me what's up with this party? They do vote and make comments, yet their activity is not recorded.

I don't mind them being around, as long as they get their act together. But if they ever fall inactive, will they just stay around because nobody will ever notice that they've been inactive for more than 7 days?

That is very strange indeed. Usually, parties like that are created by a bug, but in this case there's a real player behind it. I'll take care of it.

How can this bill (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=394658) when there is still conflicting legislation pending in the legislature?

Is it a bug, or a moderation decision?

Is what a bug or a moderator decision? I'm not sure what you're getting at.
