Particracy Wiki Editing Help

Postby LobbyingIntern » Tue Oct 09, 2018 8:45 pm

I am working on the wiki for the People's Revolutionary Republic of Hulstria and Gao-Soto
http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Hulstria_and_Gao-Soto

First of all, I tried to change the flag of the nation using a link of Imgur, but the wiki would not load the image. Could you, please help me deal with the problem or suggest me a photo service which does not have this problem.

I also attempted to rewrite the table detailing the list of active political parties(y?) and replace on of the images on it, but could not find a way to do it. I need help to be able to rewrite the table at all.

I'm admittedly not very good with Wikia, but I tried uploading it as a file to Wikia...does this help?

Yes, it worked! Thank you for this advice. It took me a couple of tries to get it right.

By the way, does anyone know a good software for making a national seal or coat-of-arms?

Aquinas is right, Wikia will only display images which have been uploaded to their site. Regarding seals/coats-of-ams, there are a few online programmes but they're all very basic. Your best bet is to take an existing symbol from a real-life nation and mess around with it in paint.net or another image-editing programme I think, otherwise you could seek out someone who is good at that sort of thing!
