Why does it take 2/3rds to pass a treaty but only 1/2 to withdraw it?

This being my point, i had to make deals and work hard to get those done and they can remove it with only half, seems unfair and silly :(

I think it does require 2/3rds to withdraw from a treaty. Perhaps I am mistaken and just woke up from my own silly reality, but that's what I always thought was the case.

Simple. It limits the power of treaties like those. Look at Kafuristan if you want to see why. Of course, if you'd finished the job you wouldn't have this problem... :P
