If you're not sure what to role-play then you may wish to consider another country. For the recent role-play history of New Englia, you should consult the country's national newspaper thread. For older history you may wish to browse the Particracy Wiki and see what you can find.

There isn't anything from recent times. Which is why I wanted to do a civil war to start from scratch.

I'd recommend re-reading the "Third World Information" thread as well as section 9 of the Game Rules. Regarding the Third World countries there is no starting from scratch, all players are required to take account of the role-play history of a country if they are approved to take control of it.

I would like to request control with Utembo.

My plan is to restore the Throne. Once that's done I will take Utembo to an authoritarian regime by dismantling the Council of the Crown, The Royal Court and the Board of Ministers. The Batembo Democratic Progressive Front will also be persecuted and will be dismantled. The Throne will have absolute power over everything.
I do have one question that is that in the Third World Information Index it says that Utembo is primarily Tibetan. However, scrolling through Utembo's newspaper and wiki page I find many African names so that confuses me. Should I RP Utembo with African or Tibetan names?

I'll talk to Auditorii and get back to you with an answer to your question and then we can discuss the request.

Sorry you'll have to accept my apologies on this, we discussed and I forgot to respond. No excuses. Your request is approved and we recognise there might be confusion over the history of the country's culture. The cultural background of many of the forum-based countries were changed a little while ago and Utembo was one of them. The previous dominant group was the "Kitembo" (Swahili) people. Tibetan people should be the dominant group now but "Xsampan" is the established term that was used for them.

No worries. So I should use the Xsampan people now right?

Thanks!

Yes though "Xsampa" was the previous name for Bazgaristan (confusing, I know!) so if you would prefer then we could discuss an alternative term. I'll leave it up to you.

Can I use Utemban? I think that it would make it easier.
