Citing his ever increasing age and many tasks within the Khaganate the Duke of Kárak thanks the Jelbek brother but will have to refuse to take up his nomination as chairman of the MEA.

Alojz Komár, Finance Minister of the Grand Empire of Deltaria

As Karak wont be participating and no one else is putting forward a candidate, Deltaria nominates Juhász Nándor, a Deltarian citizen who is part of one of our many minorities. He has worked as the dissuwan Prime Minister in the region of Dissuwa and has been an advocate for human rights most of his life. As you know we rather have had another member state put forth a candidate but since this has not happened we nominate Nándor

Juhász Nándor, Chairman of the MEA

Representatives of the MEA member states. I come here before you today with two subjects on the agenda. As many of you may know we have not had a chairmanship election in quite some time. This means that i, as chairman, will be scheduling chairmanship elections within the next 2 years to ensure that our organization remains true to its democratic principles and prepares for the already large role it plays in Majatran economics.

Secondly. Me and my team, in cooperation with the government of Deltaria and several other member states, have drafted a new Trade and Relations treaty between the Kingdom of Dorvik and our association. This treaty, similar in nature to the MEA-Yingdala treaty that brought unprecendented growth to the continent, will create yet another large market for Majatran goods, removing tarrifs for our products and theirs creating a new free trade area between the Kingdom of Dorvik and the MEA. Furthermore, it includes specific clauses that ensures additional revenue for a majority of MEA members. This treaty, as it currently stands, would likely spur yet another boom in economic growth and increased cooperation between Majatra and Dorvik.

My proposal would be to put the MEA-Dorvik treaty to a vote in this association and await either its rejection or, preferably, its passing. After it is enacted unanimously by our members we shall schedule the leadership elections. We look forward to your responses.

Liya Aida, Representative of Cobura to the MEA
Fellow Representatives of the MEA, the Socialist Regime of Cobura failed the MEA from withdrawing from the Treaty and on behalf of Cobura, I sincerely apologise. But I want to assure you that siuch wouldn't happen because the regime that commenced leading Cobura under my previous leadership will now commence Pro-MEA. Proceeding without delay. I will assure that Cobura will never leave MEA. Fellow Representatives, I hereby tender my nomination for MEA Chair. Thank you.

Amalasuntha Liuvigild, Finance Minister of the Deltarian Federation

We support the proposals layed out by the Chair and will vote IN FAVOUR of the MEA-Dorvik deal. We call upon all MEA members to do the same. This will bring further prosperity and opportunity to the continent, something we all agree on is beneficial to our development. Furthermore we also support the chair elections be held after the vote on the deal is concluded.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Asim Seif:

Given that the MEA-Dorvik deal will bring an increase in trade and prosperity to our nation and all the other nations in the MEA, Badara votes IN FAVOUR of the MEA-Dorvik deal. We also agree for the chair elections to be held after this vote.

Minister of Finance Hamad al-Nazir, Jumhuriat al-Badara:

There are several questions about MEA - Dorvik Treaty we would like to raise. First, presumably after debate the treaty will be ratified by individual MEA member states; is this correct?

Second, is the 10 billon per annum in oil and oil products from Badara and others a total from all contributors or the expected amount from each contributor?

Third, is the "10 billion" in barrels or LOD?

Fourth, presumably the MEA - Yingdala arrangement is still in effect. Is this correct?

We appreciate your indulgence.
