West Beluzia Journalism Forum

Postby nick22891 » Mon Jul 09, 2012 12:49 am

On the advice of - and following the example of - Count Kristov II, High Count Nick Williams has decided to launch this project as a way of improving the visibility of the Williams Family's activities and policies to the international community. It will, also, serve as another outlet for news coming out of Beluzia in addition to the well established South Beluzia Journalism Forum. Journalists of all political views and backgrounds will contribute to ensure that completely unbiased and objective articles are published.

West Beluzia always includes : Iliathar

During periods where Negunia and Bailon are under Royalist Coalition rule, they will also be considered a part of West Beluzia for this purpose.

"tory"

Postby nick22891 » Mon Jul 09, 2012 4:30 pm

The Party that calls itself the "tory" continues to carry out terrorist activities in Beluzia. Fortunately, the last two elections have not seen the "tory" win control of any parishes and we can only hope that the voters continue to show their growing dislike for one of Beluzia's oldest and most corrupt parties.

The "tory" has - for decades - pushed for policies allowing abuse of children as well as discrimination against people for their personal lives/beliefs. More information on this can be found in the South Beluzia Journalism Forum.

Perhaps worse - since it cannot be blocked by the votes of other sane parties - is the deplorable level of communication seen in members of the "tory". They fail to communicate effectively in English (or any other known language) and instead offer what seems to be extremely garbled English sentences in which letters and words have been randomly replaced or rearranged as political debate. As such, communication with the terrorist organization is next to impossible and they have not been able to give a rationale behind their many evil and discriminatory policies.

As a bonus, they refuse to even use a respectable party name. Rather than use a name fitting Beluzia's theme like the "Stanton Family" (which they used previously), they - in an obvious act of protest due to increasing negative sentiment among their peers towards their party - changed their name to simply "tory" - refusing to even capitalize the first letter as is the universal norm with all proper nouns (such as the name of a political party). This only served to increase their isolation on the Beluzian political scene and - as mentioned earlier - they failed to win any parishes in the last two elections.

Unfortunately, the newly dominant Royalist coalition has been unable to pass a new cabinet due to the inactivity of the House of David - presumed by other party leaders to be intimidated by threats from the "tory". This has allowed the "tory" to retain control of the cabinet for the present. The international community is, however, urged not to recognize the "tory" government while the real power and influence in Beluzia continues to be held by the Royalist coalition (Karav, Williams, and David).

"tory" Cabinet Removed

Postby nick22891 » Tue Jul 10, 2012 3:27 am

Negotiations between the Royalist Coalition and the House of Astredies were successful and an agreement was reached that allowed for the majority vote necessary to remove the "tory" from the cabinet.

This effectively means that the Blue Coalition ("tory", Astredies) has been broken up and the terrorist "tory" has been isolated on the political scene once again. The House of Astredies has not yet officially joined the Royalist Coalition but this seems to be a possible next step.

Citizens rejoiced at the news that the largely unpopular tory cabinet was finally removed and that the civilian government was returned to its rightful state.
