This is a proper translation of the lyrics (though you guys can change it around to whatever you wish):

Rise up, huge country,
Rise up for the mortal fight!
With the dark fascist force,
With the damned horde.

Let noble fury
Boil up like a wave
This is a people's war,
A sacred war!

Let noble fury
Boil up like a wave
This is a people's war,
A sacred war!

We'll repulse the oppressors
Of all ardent ideas,
Rapists, robbers,
Enemies of the people.

Let noble fury
Boil up like a wave
This is a people's war,
A sacred war!

Black wings don't dare
To fly over the Motherland,
Her vast fields
The enemy doesn't dare to trample.

Let noble fury
Boil up like a wave
This is a people's war,
A sacred war!

To the rotten fascist scum
We'll put a bullet in the forehead,
For the dogs of humanity
We'll build a solid casket!

Let noble fury
Boil up like a wave
This is a people's war,
A sacred war!

Let noble fury
Boil up like a wave
This is a people's war,
A sacred war!
Very fitting for Nova Terra, I just need to make sure my edited version of the lyrics have a good flow.

OOC: Now that you said it, I am a musician... :P

I still lean towards the idea of creating something of our own, Eldascar.

Good luck, I'm curious as to what sort of lyrics you'll come up with. God, I love that song. You really have to give it up to the musical genius of Aleksandr Aleksandrov (he also wrote the Soviet anthem).

What about "Varyag"?
"The FSB finally caught him for talking shit about replacing Putin with this "Saiser" character. I'm guessing they're up to his seventh toenail by now."

That's a solid choice too. In my own opinion its neither as good a song nor as intimidating as "The Sacred War" but it's a solid pick nonetheless.

Interestingly, the song was actually written by a German.

I was under the impression I was to lazy to write real music?
