Morning Mayhem

Happy New Year Terra!

I'm your host Carson Shepard in Irtoriad, Ikradon, and welcome to the 1 January 3144 edition of Morning Mayhem, on the International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears. Enjoy your breakfast as you prepare for the day, and as I supply you your daily dose of news, that I'll do!

[*]In Kanjor, The new ruling OC party did some major reforms, including the improvement of gay rights, women rights in the military and interracial marriage rights. Many member of the homosexual community paraded the streets in support of these new reforms

[*]In Dorvik, The Electoral Commission officially recognised the Fascist DNFPP party and will allow it to run for offices. Party Chancellor Viktor Strotmann already announced planned reforms when it comes to the leadership of the country. DNFPP will face off against Prasident Seiler's RPP and the ruling coalition of DPP and UDP.

[*]In Indrala, Former head of the CA opposition, Gao Ping, is announced dead after suffering a heart stroke. His old CA party was disbanded by then-leader Yao Fidel. Yao Fidel also announced the establishment of the UCPI, a new party, with his half-brother Yao Jing.

[*]In Rutania, Former President Joseph von Heyst has also passed away, at the age of 70. And the NFA party was established, but only to shortly collapse and transform into a militia by the movement's leader Ethan Dawkins.

[*]In Malivia, Prof. Adalbaert Rhayyid warns about possible war looming because of the Macon Pact, after Hutori retreated from the Pact. Prof Rhayyid explains the parallels between the old Macon Union and the new Macon Pact, citing Hutori's sudden exits in both incarnations.

[*]In Ikradon, Chancellor Carson Vandenberghe II gets re-elected for his fifth consecutive term, and his party, the DT, formed a new coalition government including the CFP, SDMEP and SCI-LSS. And mass protests called on by USA erupted the streets of Magrathea, after poisonous chemicals leaked from a factory into the Ikran River in Alkon province. Protesters called for better governance and more regulation, as former Chancellors Mac Nava and Cdr. Jean Shepard also participated.

[*]In Barmenia, Legislators at the Grand Cat Parlour have unanimously voted to immediately dismantle nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. Chief Servants of the Cat Jessica Rochford called out other nations and challenged them to do the same, while at the same time reassuring everyone that the cats will protect them.

[*]In Kirlawa, President Edwin Ferdinand Werthem gets re-elected for a third and last term, as President Werthem announced he will not seek re-election again. President Werthem's ruling DFM retains the plurality and majority, with KPJP and KDL in opposition.

[*]In Aloria, New President Donald King and his PP party celebrates a major victory, as they have managed to garnered the President's office and all the seats in Parliament, with almost unanimous support from the people. President King's first reforms is the removal of the Prime Minister office, the strengthening of the private sector via grants and boosting the national defence, as well as the weakening of labour unions and the cabinet and Parliament's power, wanting more power vested in the elected President.

Well, that was our news for today, and now, for music! You folks in Rutania may know this song, as it was a hit in practically the whole of North Artania. These are the Fair Event, led by front-man and Torville, Haboves, Kanjor native Pierre-Francois D'Jean, who immigrated with his family to Rutania in 2919, and formed his band in 2944 at the age of 34. Please enjoy the song "Stay" from the Fair Event.

A terrific song, stemming from the problems D'Jean had in relationships as he was seen as an "immigrant" in the Rutanian nationalistic society. Needless to say that D'Jean didn't have a problem with relationships after forming his band and writing such songs.

And now for our news on focus today, and boy, folks, has it been all about the Macon Pact or Macon Union this week, from Hutori to Rutania and even Malivia!

First off, Telamon requested for other, non-Macon nations to join the pact, and the Macon Union agreed. As a result, Rutania was asked, as you all may remember, Rutania aided Telamon against Hutori in the war. But, in Rutania, the legislature rejected entrance in to the Macon Pact, citing a government reports that cites issues with sovereignty and goals of the nations within the Union. RSL's Reginald Blackburn was the most critical of the pact, calling the Macon Pact nations "megalomaniacs" and "blood-thirsty".

After that rejection in Rutania, Hutori's ruling HCP, citing issues with Telamon, the President of the Union and recruitment of foreign nations , decided to motion to retreat and decline participation in the new unionm even though they themselves help wrote the treaty. The opposition, more specifically the LD called out the ruling HCP and their sudden backtracking. HCP stated that it was not in the best interest of Hutori, but in the interest of Telamon.

After all the fanfare in both Rutania and Hutori, a Malivian professor wrote a opinion piece on the talks, citing several similarities with the old Macon Union and this new Macon Pact, where he cited that the issue of the President of the Union was also a point of disagreement that ultimately ended up with another conservative party of Hutori pulling out, that caused Davostan and Telamon to blockade Hutori. Professor Rhayyid's commentary also predicted war to come out if it indeed does fail.

Folks, it seems that the year opened up with dilemmas, as things are sure heating up up north, so we'll keep you updated as the days pass by. Also, as an additional update, it seems that the ruling LP government has fallen in Jelbania, and that talks of war between Luthori and Jelbania has calmed down.

Folks, I hope you have a great day and a great and happy new year, and also a safe new year, especially in these times. I'm Carson Shepard signing off, wishing you all the best for the rest of the day. But first, please do enjoy a number from Keymonite band the Frontier Pioneers and their song "We Never Change" on International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears. So long, and have a safe day.

Flash Alert

We interrupt your scheduled program for this news bulletin Flash Alert.
Hi I am Dalton Mason here in the Irtoriad, Ikradon studio of the International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears, but today, 24 June 3144, we have some new and urgent news to relay, and as a result we are now going live to our correspondent Kevin Hudson in Bekenial, Adelia, Hutori, where he has more info.

Kevin Hudson wrote:Thank you Dalton, yes I'm here in front of the Hutori House of Parliament here in Bekenial, Hutori, were the House of Parliament unanimously passed the withdrawal of Hutori from the Macon Pact and the subsequent Macon Union, that now consists of only Davostan, Telamon and Keymon. In a really heated debate, Prime Minister Viscount Townsend of the ruling HCP had to rally support for the withdrawal, as the opposition LD rallied for the union. However, things got hot early on when LD leader Frank Plowman reiterated that the move was a bad one by Prime Minister Townsend, stating that Prime Minister Townsend had baseless arguments because the HCP delegate was never present at the meetings, and that the talks did not pose any threat to Hutori's sovereignty, what Prime Minister Townsend and the HCP has been saying all along.

But then it really got even more hotter, when the Telamonese NIPT stepped up to the podium and addressed the Hutori House of Parliament. Needless to say they received heavy criticism from the Hutorian parties, and Speaker Timothy Owen. But even that did not stop the NIPT and the ruling O parties from Telamon, as well as the INP from Keymon to address the Hutorian House of Parliament again. One of the more sharper addresses came from the NIPT, claiming that they were superior to the Hutorian ID party and that they had indeed the right to speak in Parliament. NIPT claimed that since Hutori was still in the Pact, and that the NIPT has delegates to the union, and the ID does not, that it was the superior party and that some deference should be shown.

The Keymon ruling INP Royal Chancellor James Vonburg then stated that the move could prove to be a dangerous ones and that sanctions could be taken against Hutori. The ruling Imperator Titus Cornelius Archietectus of Telamon also added that military build-up as well as economic sanctions could be the result of continued tensions and that they hope the Hutori would reconsider and rejoin the pact. It has been known that both the Telamonese Imperator and the Keymoni Royal Chancellor has called for these measures in the Macon Pact talks. The vote was taken, and unanimously all 391 members of the 4 parties vote for the motion that made the Macon Union go from 4 nations to 3. Even the previously dissenting LD has had enough of the breach and threats made by the foreign diplomats. Hutori Prime Minister Viscount Townsend calls this a victory for the people of Hutori, as this is what they want.

It is also to note that Adele Weiterhaussen, leader of the ID, wrote an editorial after the vote was taken, stated that war could and should be avoided, but it must be the Union to back off and stop raising the tensions. Weiterhaussen calls for the Macon Union to stop escalating the situation, and called the Keymonite Royal Chancellor's statement idiotic, as Hutori has stated clearly why it was leaving the Union, and that military actions against Hutori to be war-mongering ideals. He also commented on the Telamonese Imperator statements, saying that it was hypocritical to say that Hutori was the one raising tension when it was the Union that is to blame, and that the Imperator made threats of war against Hutori, further raising tensions.

Back to you Dalton

Thank you Kevin. Now we shall also go to our correspondents in each of the 3 other nations. I'm hearing that Jessica Arterius is in Telapolis, Migadon, Telamon in front of the Imperial Senate. Let's go to Jessica:

Jessica Arterius wrote:Thanks, Dalton. As Kevin stated, in Telamon itself there has been questions raised on how the respective parties handled themselves when it came to Hutori. Imperator Titus Cornelius Archietectus had apologised for the NIPT conduct, though it was clear that the NIPT wanted to make a statement. The NIPT declared themselves able to speak in the House of Parliament in Bekenial, Hutori, and called for deference be shown, as they were superior to the Hutorian ID, that has no delegates to the Union talks. Further more, it seems that the statement by the Imperator itself, trying to assure Hutori that Keymon's alternative isn't what is needed, was possibly understood as a threat of military actions and economic sanctions on Hutori. The Imperator, in a response to Royal Chancellor James Vonburg of Keymon, stated that it was a little too early to call for military mobilization and economic sanctions, but it remained a possibility if tensions continues to increase between the Union and Hutori,

Back to you, Dalton

Thanks Jessica, and as IAN reported earlier, about Professor Rhayyid's commentary on the parallels of the 2 Macon Union, it seems that history is repeating itself. We are now going to Royal Hillsborough, on the Isle of Maddog in Keymon, where Jaysson Prendergast is in front of the House of Representatives:

Jaysson Prendergast wrote:Much thanks Dalton, and as you all heard about already, Royal Chancellor James Vonburg issued a statement to the people Keymon, the Union and later on to Hutori. The full statement goes on to say that Hutori has been hostile, and that the hostility made Royal Chancellor suggest military and economic sanctions. Royal Chancellor Vonburg also stated in the House of Parliament in Hutori that the withdrawal decision is a dangerous one, and that there could be economic sanctions levied on Hutori, because of the lack of good reasoning given to the rest of the Union for the withdrawal. The Royal Chancellor was also asking the Union for a possible full military mobilization of the Union, for the defence of the Union against hostile Hutori. It seems that Royal Chancellor Vonburg's statement are the most controversial to this point, as there is still no official Davostani reaction to the withdrawal.

Back to the studio to you, Dalton

Indeed, Royal Chancellor Vonarburg's statement wasn't well taken in Hutori. Now, let me see if we can contact or Davostani correspondent, Randy Nava-Muller in Imperial Dakruth Fortress in the Imperial Darkuth Territory in Davostan:

Randy Nava-Muller wrote:Thanks, Dalton, and indeed we are awaiting the reaction of Davostan, possibly even by the Satanic Emperor Lord Medivh Evil Emelia Davis and the sole ruling SRP. In the criticism of Hutori Prime Minister Viscount Townsend on the Macon Union, he cited the imperialistic ideal of Telamon and the expansion and president proposal, but also Davostan, where Hutori stated that Davostan merely wanted to use the Union for their empire and wars. We await if the Executive will comment or talk about this. It was visible at the conference that Davostan's ideal was possibly world domination, which was accepted across the board, but little is known if this was a serious proposal or not. Davostan has been quite isolated in the past, but looks to try to cooperate more, specially with their Macon neighbours. The ruling SRP was also part of the first Macon Union some 800 years ago. It remains possible that Davostan may agree with Union-members of military actions and economic actions, as they did exactly that when Hutori left the first Macon Union some 800 years ago.

Until then, Dalton, back to you

Thank you Randy, and all our correspondents around Macon. The tension created was actually maybe a long list of events, starting from the President of the Union proposal, the possibility of military alliance even when a nation is the aggressor or invader, Davostani supposed expansion and imperialism, expansion of the Pact with Rutania, who subsequently rejected as it breached sovereignty, and a Malivian professor predicting that history would repeat itself. Prime Minister Viscount Townsend, despite help writing the Pact treaty, decided that after all these issues, that it was not in the interest of Hutori. It seems that Keymon and Telamon thought otherwise about the withdrawal. It is a developing situation that may start a war, as history predicted, in Macon. We will keep you updated as more information comes in, on the International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears.

Morning Mayhem

Good Morning Terra!

I'm your host Carson Shepard in Irtoriad, Ikradon, and welcome to the 24 October 3145 edition of Morning Mayhem, on the International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears. Enjoy your breakfast as you prepare for the day, and let me supply you your daily dose of news!

[*]In Rutania, Ethan Dawkins of the radical NFA has reportedly fled the nation to Beluzia. This after protests of both NFA sympathizers and RSL sympathizers in Khorod, and no one was reported injured. The NFA and the RSL have been arch-rivals since the NFA's inception in Rutanian politics.

[*]In Solentia, Former President Carla Verolo retires from politics and resigns as the leader of CF. Carla Verolo served 26 years as Solentia's President. Ryan Obem was elected new CF leader.

[*]In Mordusia, Viceroy Thomas Jacobson II of the RFP announces he will not seek a fourth term as Viceroy, and also subsequently stepped down as Chairman of the RFP. Jacobson's son, Albert Jacobson, has been given the position of Chairman of the RFP. Albert has been described as more moderate than his father.

[*]In Kanjor, Minister of Infrastructure & Transport Andre Louis and Minister of Foreign Affairs Francis Bonnaire have proposed a bill which seeks to send Kanjorian workers to White Stad in Narikaton, to help the economy and improve relations with Narikaton. The amount of workers has caused debates in the Etats-Generaux.

[*]In Telamon, Imperator Titus Cornelius Archietectus addressed Telamon and expressed his outrage over Hutori propaganda, emphasizing the fact that Telamon never threatened Hutori. Telamon acknowledges that Keymon did, but argued that Hutori propaganda tried to put Telamon in a bad spotlight also. Imperator Archietectus stands by his statements, and wishes for peace, but only if Hutori wishes for peace too.

[*]In Keymon, President James Vonburg also addressed his nation of Keymon, expressing his concerns about the leaders of Hutori, citing that they can not see the difference between a mobilization for defence, and a threat of war. President Vonarburg also stated that Keymon never threatened war, they only called for defencive mobilization due to concerns about Hutori's extremely sudden withdrawal, and that they also proposed economic sanctions as a result of that departure.

[*]In Kafuristan, 86 people, including writers, members of civil organizations and former military officers, including two generals, were charged Monday with membership in an illegal ultranationalist organization and of plotting to overthrow the Kafuri government. The government accused the military and the Hizb ul-Tahrir, both secular groups, of plotting the attempted coupe d'etat against the religiously conservative government.

[*]In Hutori, Prime Minister Viscount Townsend, in a radio interview, condemned the Telamonese and the Keymonese government and their threats of war. Prime Minister Townsend reiterated that Hutori will not be part of the Telamon empire that is the Macon Union. Opposition leader Hector James of the LD was also interviewed, where he agreed with Prime Minister Townsend on the condemnation of the war threats and the anti-Hutori sentiments in the Macon Union.

[*]In Ikradon, Chancellor Miranda Lawson of USA defeated incumbent Dark Templar Carson Vandenberghe II of the DT in the executive elections. Chancellor Lawson got the support of long-time DT ally and supporter CFP. Chancellor Lawson called this a great victory and the beginning of a new era for Ikradon. It is expected that a new Cabinet will be proposed, with the CFP leaving the old cabinet of the DT eventhough it still maintained a majority in the legislative election.

[*]In Al'Badara, the MCP and the NRM have reached a compromise and a new coalition government agreement. The ruling LP, who shunned the MCP when Al'Badara became a two-party state, shall be the sole opposition party. The MCP and NRM are notably contrasted on the issue of socialism.

Well now, those where the newest development in Terra. Now, let me sooth your ears with a nice piece from Kalou Idjija all the way from Talmoria! Enjoy Kalou Idjija's song, "Tell Me All"

Terrific song with a nice beat!

And now for our news on focus today

And folks, the Macon Union is still in the news as of late. As reported earlier, Hutori has left the union, and as such both Telamon and Keymon addressed Hutori in their parliament and later through governmental statements. The parliamentary addresses didn't sit well with the Hutorian parties, and the statements where seen as threats made to Hutori, primarily military and economic threats. Prime Minister Viscount Townsend condemned the threats and the nations, and requested that Hutori's will be accepted and it's sovereignty respected. Prime Minister Townsend continued on to state that Hutori will not be a part of the Telamonese empire, nor part of the Davostani war-games.

After statements were interchanged, both the Imperator of Telamon and the President of Keymon expressed dis-gratitude towards the Hutorian government, for what they perceived as Hutorian propaganda and inability to differentiate and understand what they really meant. Both Imperator Archietectus and President Vonburg accentuated that they have not threatened war, and both the nations want a peaceful solution to this debacle. Telamon stated also that peace can only be achieved if Hutori wants it too, as Telamon is committed to peace. And Keymon only asked for defencive actions due to the extremely sudden departure of Hutori from the Union, questioning and calling other governments to also question Hutori's motives. Keymon further added that economic sanctions have been called for by their government.

Davostan and the ruling SRP, who was present at the first Macon Union, talks and later dissolution in to war, urged that all parties work towards a peaceful solution. Satanic Emperor Lord Medivh Evil urged for restraints and no acts of hastiness. Davostan stated that they do not want to repeat history, nor clean up Macon afterwards, like they did some 800 years ago. He continued to say that Davostan for sure has learn from history, and shall not opt for aggression unless every other option has been exhausted. The proposed solution is to give Hutori an observing-membership status within the union, leaving the option wide open of re-entrance within the Union.

In a letter to Hutori, Davostan explained the Narikaton-ordeal and stated that only Davostani men were and would've been used, as well as trying to clear up any misunderstandings between Keymon and Telamon, and Hutori. Davostan's Satanic Emperor continued on to state that there haven't been any war threatened, only if there is a need for it. Davostan did acknowledge the hostility between Keymon and Hutori, and Telamon and Hutori. Hutori has yet to formally announce their position and answer to the proposal.

Meanwhile, in Keymon, opposition is mounting against the Macon Union, as the opposition A party vehemently stated that they will seek to withdraw Keymon from the Union. A second setback for the young Union, they continued to argue that the Union does not work, it's inefficient, expensive and it disrespects to the sovereignty and the self-determination of the people, as it is a projects of the elites, and not the people. Also making news, is possible expansion again, as, though unofficial and not yet formalised, the Telamon government asking the Davostan government about the possible inclusion of the Narikaton Empire. Rutania was already offered before, but turned it down due to concerns about Rutanian sovereignty.

Thins seemed to have cooled off for a bit, thanks to the unlikely peaceful arbitrator, Davostan and it's Satanic Emperor Lord Medivh Evil! It seems that a solution is abound and misunderstandings cleared out of the way, for now. And with that, a possible needless war averted.

Now, let me give you this piece of music and wish you a nice day today! The song's name is "Strong" by Red Stad/White Stad, Darnussia/Narikaton native Bernard Morris, who fled to Beluzia during the Civil War. In Beluzia, he reunited with his band-members and made this song about the war. Please enjoy, "Strong" by Bernard Morris' Children of the Woods group

HANG LOOSE

Hi there and welcome on the 23rd of December, 3145!

I am Jean-Stepan Martin here in Irtoriad, Dazlon, Ikradon welcome to our show Hang Loose, where we treat your ears with the best music and even better content, on your International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears.

Our random topic of the day, is International Treaties!

A great tool for international relations, nations drafts, negotiates and ratifies treaties to better relations with other nations, to solve problems, for a common cause or for sheer cooperativeness or competition! But for others, it is seen as a intrusion on the sovereignty of nations, or a way to secure foreign interest in their respective lands. For example, the oldest, still existing and binding treaty between two specific nation for cooperation and better relations, is the Rildanor-Indrala Fellowship Treaty, drafted in 2345 and in effect since 2602, when it was ratified again by Rildanor. Speaking of nations, the treaties that has united the most nations are the Terran World Cup and the Terran Olympic Association, with 44 nations each, so it seems that sports truly unites our world with each other.

The largest treaty ever drafted included a whopping 86 proposal requirements! Needless to say that the Freedom Treaty is not currently ratified by a single country. Though 86 already would be eye-hurting for diplomats to go over, there has been rumour about an even bigger one emerging! At over twice the size, with 166 proposal requirements, the yet-to-be-drafted Constitution of Free States would be the longest treaty in existence, by a long-shot. I'd hate to be those who wrote, or the ones who need to read it!

That's enough about treaties for now, let's feed you some music! Please, enjoy another Star Gazers hit, "No Fights on the Dancefloor"!

A great song, tremendously written, and I hoped you enjoyed it as much as I did!

Now, for a segment we like to call "Our Ears Listening/Our Eyes Reading".

Recently, we have been keeping an eye on cultural and sporting events. It seems that the Government of the Feline Homeland of Barmenia, in conjuction with the National Cat Museum, is planning to tour with an exhibition called The Cat In Ancient Barmenia. It promises to exhibit many ancient objects found in Barmenistan, where it showcases different type of rituals and worships of cats. History, Archeology and Culture-fanatics would be sure to get a treat with this exhibition, and Felinists will also reveal in this exposition. This is a great way to learn new cultures and as well as some history of another nation. As such, newly-elected Chancellor of Ikradon, Miranda Lawson, already announced that Ikradon is willing to host the exhibition in Ikradon. Be sure to check it out if it comes in a city near you, as it may pique your interest in culture or history, as well as refresh your brains with some interesting facts and figures, and who knows, maybe this will start a trend of cultural exhibits touring Terra, as reports have also come in from Malivia that they have recently found an old historic dig-site with valuable and ancient writings and teachings artifacts about Malivian culture and the Gerajan way of life.

Also making some news is the the bidding process for the revived Olympics, where Dundorf, Kanjor, Barmenia, Rutania and Davostan placed bids to host the Olympics, before the deadline. We have unconfirmed reports that the bid submission deadline has already passed, but you never know. Regardless, participating in it can also be great! Be sure to check it out and keep an eye out for it, specially for you sport fans out there who wants to root for your country!

Also, an international discussions organisation is having some pretty interesting debate on the Imperialism issue in the Parliament of Alduria in Val Afred, hosted by President Bruno Lajoie. The issue having been brought up by Kafuristan/Wantuni delegates of the [V] Organisation after the their involvement in Saridan. It also, coincidentally, is happening all the while the Macon Union has been accused of imperialism by Hutori. An interesting debate, and if anyone of you is interested you could monitor the debate and learn about different positions of different influential individuals in Terra and your country.

Lastly, there have been rumours swirling around about a possible Tennis league of Terra, dubbed the International Tennis Alliance. The initiative is reportedly piquing interest and surveying around to see if there is any possibility of it. Headed by Information Alternative Nexus chairman ir. Nihlus Kryik of Ikradon, parent organisation of IAN, they are trying to create the International Tennis Alliance. Tennis is the national sport of Ikradon, that it is.

Well now, we have seem to reach the end of another edition of Hang Loose with you friend and host, Jean-Stepan Martin, on the International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears. I'll leave you with this excellent symphonic chorus group headed by Luthori-native Timotheus Parsley. Farewell and until next, please enjoy "Tough Times" by Harmony-Us.

Morning Mayhem

Good Morning Terra!

I'm your host Carson Shepard in Irtoriad, Ikradon, and welcome to the 24 October 3147 edition of Morning Mayhem, on the International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears. Enjoy your breakfast as you prepare for the day, and let me supply you your daily dose of news!

[*]In Hutori, The ruling HCP-ID coalition experiences considerable losses in the elections, as the PCP experiences great gains and becomes the party with plurality, and subsequently formed a new government with the LD, after negotiations between the PCP and HCP broke down.

[*]In Kafuristan, Hundreds of Army officers have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to overthrow the government. This after several officers have been arrested before. All the accused shall be tried by a special tribunal, and if found guilty, could serve an upwards of 30 years in prison, or they could even face the death penalty.

[*]In Malivia, Archeologists have found a large historic find near the capital of Malivia. According to different experts, it could alter the way of life in Malivia, or it could be largely worthless. Others claim that it is a forgery or a hoax. According to reports, three members of the excavation team has been murdered by one David F., member of a fundamentalist Gerajan sect.

[*]In Dorvik, The new Dorvik Labour Service comes into effect, that is tasked with the creation of Dorvish jobs for citizens of Dorvik of Dorvish descent, by a unanimous decision by the legislators in Dorvik.

[*]In Kirlawa, Gerhard Grundbach of the DFM has been elected President, defeating Tristina de Lauro of the KPJP and succeeding former President Werther of the DFM. [*]In Hulstria, Kaiser Alexander II has passed away at the age of 79. Crown Prince Klemens is to be crowned new Kaiser of Hulstria, and take up the regnal name Kaiser Franz VII. It is also expected that Kaiser Franz VII shall reign over Trigunia as well, as the monarchy has been restored there in recent years.

[*]In Beluzia, New Leader Ethan Dawkins and the ruling NFA has threatened war against Rutania due to the alleged theft of an election with the NFA as victims. Leader Dawkins stated that Beluzia shall make demands, and if Rutania does not comply, that Beluzia shall invade and wage war against Rutania. The NFA controls 6% of the legislative of Beluzia.

[*]In Rutania, John Gordon has been elected new President of Rutania, and has called for a new regime to avert war with Beluzia. Also, Leonard Overman, chairman of the RSL, has been murdered by one Olaf M.

[*]In Luthori, Minister of Foreign Affairs Theodore Halifax has offered up to be the mediator between the states of Rutania and Beluzia, to the west of Luthori. Minister Halifax stated that peace should be necessary in south Artania, after many conflicts in such a short time. Minister Halifax wants to avoid the conflict.

[*]In Ikradon. Minister of Foreign Affairs Saren Arterius has condemned the acts and threats of Beluzia and new Leader Ethan Dawkins, and demanded for a peaceful solution. Minister Arterius also offered himself up as mediator for a true peaceful solution.

That was our news around Terra, now, let me sooth your ears with a nice piece from Vincent-Dominic Marin and his musical group, "Post Stamp Collections". Please enjoy this wondrous song, "Home"

A nice song, indeed.

And now for our news on focus today

Folks, you heard it hear first. Now recently, there has been turmoil in central Artania, between Rutania and Beluzia. It seems that the NFA of Rutania has fled the country after been condemned in Rutania. The fled southward into Beluzia, and took power in Beluzia very rapidly. As such, the leader, Ethan Dawkins, has stated that Beluzia is ready to invade Rutania, so that the NFA can rightfully rule over Rutania as well, lest the demands and conditions be met.

Reactions in Rutania varies, with some laughing at Dawkin and others wanting peace, but most of them are taking this threat seriously and are readying defences against Beluzia. Reactions from the region are also coming in, as both Luthori and Ikradon has made official announcements. Luthori stated that they do not want a new war, as the regions has been waging war and in turmoil for some time now, including the Darnussian/Narikaton Civil War. Minister of Foreign Affairs Theodore Halifax has offered to be the mediating voice between the two countries.

His counterpart in Ikradon though, Minister of Foreign Affairs Saren Arterius, hasn't been as quite. Minister Arterius condemned Beluzia and their executive Leader Ethan Dawkins, and called him a war-monger-er threatening the peace in the region, with a needless war based on petty revenge. Minister Arterius stated that he will be in contact with both government, and has also offered to mediate talks in order to avoid this needless conflict, and possible bloodshed. He further stated that Ikradon shall be protecting their border in a case of war, and will be granting refugees a safe haven to escape from Dawkins' needless war-waging. Ending his statement, Minister Arterius went on to call the plans a sick joke and idiotic, as the NFA only has support from 6% of Beluzia, but that these threats must be taken seriously and be dealt with.

Indeed, there may be troubling times, but for now, Beluzia is not under control of Dawkins' NFA, that only has about 6% of the seat in the parliament. Regardless, any threats made must be taken seriously, as anything can happen if indeed, NFA does garner the support of the people. We can only wait and see, and hope for the best.

But for now, we can all sit back, relax, and listen to this next number, our closing number of the Morning Mayhem show with me, Carson Shepard, on the International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears. Please enjoy "Phases" by the Mad Dogs from Keymon!

That’s your need-to-know news for today, my fellow Terrans, now, let’s soothe our ears with some need-to-hear music! I have for you today, Cos Abbott from Zardugal, with his ‘Here to Stay’ protest song from way back. Please enjoy ‘Here to Stay’ from Cos Abbott.

A great song, made by a tremendous artist, made during the Zardic troubles many years ago, the last time Zardugal was in trouble.
And now, spotlight news.

We’ve all been hearing it, we’ve followed it, so we’re going to discuss this in-depth for you all. The Darnussian Civil War, or the Narikaton Civil War, or the Darnussian-Narikaton War, or is it now the Imperialists-Republicans war?

Darnussian mainland forces and the Nariki island forces have been in a state of war over the last 80 or so years, and recently tensions have risen again, concerning small settlements on the coast of Darnussia. Due to the Darnussian uprising, Narikaton forces blockaded Darnussia from the sea.The Republic and the Empire have been trying to negotiate over the settlements, but every time the Empire won’t budge nor give an inch. As such, the Republican forces are considering declaring war on Narikaton. For some days now, both sides are trying to garner allies, with the Empire expected to be helped by Luthori, Indrala, Hulstria, Malivia, Mordusia, Alduria and Davostan, whilst the Republican forces have confirmed alliances with Dorvik, Gaduridos, Cobura, Beiteynu, Likatonia, Valruzia and Kazulia. Unconfirmed reports states that Keymon may join the republicans, while Trigunia may join the imperialists.

A total of at least 15 nations is thus far involved in this conflict. Making things more complex, Gaduridos recently signed a treaty with long-time Luthori-ally Zardugal, and Deltaria nearly joining on the Empire’s side after Beiteynu joined, a member of the controversial Majatran Union, who were threatened by Luthori with thermonuclear war, and has worried the Deltarian government as well, though reports cite that Deltaria and the Majatran Union are closing in on a non-aggression pact. All the while, the Conference on Terran Republics is going on in Gaduridos, and we’ve just heard unconfirmed reports that Zardic personnel may have possibly already arrived in Gaduridos, though no-one knows why they would be here!

Certainly, Gaduridos has turned into one big political hotbed now, while tensions continue to rise in Darnussia, and tensions cooling down in Majatran. We will keep you up to date as more information becomes available, as Terra might be on the verge of World War.

Until then, good music would have to suffice, and here we’ll have the Chop Sticks with their classic internet hit, ‘I don’t give a hoot’, please enjoy the Chop Sticks, as I bid you farewell and until next time, I’m you’re host Zhi Chosun, and you’re listening the Daily Nightline on the International Airwaves Network, like music to your ears, good night everybody!
