New Party Elections To Occur During Conference Amid Reports of Infighting
Anarchist May Seize Chairperson

Thordgerd, Kazulia- Today, the Liberal Democratic Party held its conference amid reports of infighting within the party. Peder Storstrand, the militant leader of the anarchist faction stated that "We need to remove our selves from the monarchists, and form a independent stance". Such beliefs are being suggested by members of the party, who see that current stance of aligning with KNA and H, a departure from the ideas of liberalism. Rosendahl has stated that these and other ideas are being brought up in the conference for a vote. There are reports that Storstrand maybe elected Chairperson of the party, which could be a large turn of direction for party and have a large impact. Storstrand who also is the leader of the People's Defense League, a paramilitary group with ties to the LDP has stated that "We need to strike first against our enemies, and destroy them." However members of the party have condemned such remarks as "overboard" and "damaging". After the conference, we report the news of the decisions and the winner of the election.

Fredrik Holt Named Chairperson, LDP Policy Announced

Thordgerd, Kazulia- Result from the conference saw Holt win with Anne Tennfjord in second. Many believed Storstrand's comments and militancy had put off support of him. Holt announced that the party had voted and decided on its policies, stating that the party will stand for liberal principles, more interesting is that the party also voted to support any government that is established by democratic means and follows democratic principles, which many believe to mean that the government would not condemn a republican system. The party had withdrawn its membership from the Association of Monarchists, as it would be a conflict with the policies of the party. The Chairperson in his first speech stated that "We need to return to our principles and ideas, the previous policy of supporting the status quo have made us turn our backs to the ideas of our party." Also he had stated that the foreign involvement in the Kazulian republican movement is troubling. Other events saw Storstrand appointed as the shadow Minister of Internal Affairs, and Rosendahl taking leadership of the liberal think tank, Freedom Foundation of Kazulia.
