Royalists Regain PowerMassive riots erupted across Beluzia as anti-Blue protestors marched in the streets demanding fair elections and a less totalitarian government. The Blue coalition has relied on election fraud for their partial victories over the past few years. There were major clashes in city centres and main road stretches in rural areas. Observers compare the events to civil war. A more detailed report follows.
Map of Beluzia before the riotsRoyal Coalition armies boarded boats from
Bailon and disembarked on the coasts of Eastern Beluzia to unite with their allies on the mainland. Supply routes for arms and food were made quickly, and the clashes began. Loyalists of the Williams family quickly recaptured
Iliathar and established urban camps before deciding to head North and East.
Unmarked armed groups surprised Blue Coalition forces in
Negunia. They were clad in green, and they jumped out of the valleys to surprise the Stanton loyalists. There was a clash among students of Stantonshire University; many were injured, but no-one has been confirmed dead. There were no guns used on the university compound.
In
Parlos Decina, miners striked until the arrival of Count Kristov I, a prominent member of the Karav dynasty. He received a warm greeting from them as he gave a speech and encouraged rebellion against the Blue coalition.
In
Iker Ado, armed farmers emptied their guns on Blue coalition forces, pushing them back into the city centre of Karavshire. The farmers rejoiced as they recaptured their land, and protestors in the city centre threw glass bottles at the Blue coalition forces entering. In Port Karav, dockworkers were on strike until they saw representatives of the Karav dynasty entering the city with red flags. Kristov II returned to claim his estate. He entered Karav Manor after passing through crowds of loyalists in the streets.
Map of Beluzia after the riotsThe Blue coalition cabinet is still in control of the civilian government, but there are rumours of armed marches to office of the Prime Minister. Effigies of Tory leader, Billy Ray, are being burned in the streets.
Meanwhile, bearers of red flags are not upset at the election results. The Karav Dynasty endorsed Alexander I for the throne.
