The Czar of Deltaria has, in his infinite generosity and fairness, recently decided to drop his use of the title 'Protector of the Jelbic Peoples', until such time as representatives from the Jelbic Peoples themselves can affirm such a mandate (or offer it to somebody else). Each Jelbic nation is granted a number of votes, based on the amount of Jelbic peoples in that nation, and their political representation within the nation. New elections can be called at any time, by any elector-state, and a call for adjustments to the voting power of any elector-state may be enacted by unanimous assent of all involved.

As it stands, the votes are allocated thusly ;
Jelbania would receive five votes to cast.
Barmenia would receive five votes to cast.
Pontesi would receive three votes to cast.
Vanuku would receive two votes to cast.
Deltaria would receive one vote to cast.

The title 'Protector of the Jelbic Peoples' will be appointed by a simple majority. It will be left up to the national legislative assemblies of the nations in question as to how to determine the method of casting their votes. As an example, and for the record, the largest party represented in the Deltarian Voivodeship of Dissuwa will be granted the discretion to cast the single vote allocated to Deltaria.

Current nominees for the position (and their relevant titles) are ;

- Lubomir of the Čestibor (Czar of Deltaria and Suzerain of Jelbania)
- Juliana of the Mede (Queen of Barmenia and Marchioness of Vanuku)
- Vincent of the Lerna (King of Pontesi)
- Krsyijkai of the Jeztri (King of Jelbania)

Additional nominees may be presented at any time during the electoral process.

Deltaria casts her single vote for Lubomir of the Čestibor.

Jelbania casts her five votes for Lubomir of the Čestibor.

Pontesi places her three votes in favour of Juliana of the Mede.

Barmenia votes for it's Queen, Her Majesty Juliana I of the Mede.

The Vanukan March gives its two votes for Juliana I of the Mede

The final tally comes to ten votes for Juliana of the Mede, and six votes for Lubomir of the Čestibor. Juliana of the Mede, Queen of Barmenia and Marchioness of Vanuku is hereby formally invested with the title 'Protector of the Jelbic Peoples', from this day until her last day, by the mandate of the Jelbic Peoples and by the authority of this Electoral Committee. The runner-up and previous title-holder, Tsěsar Ľubomír II Čestibor, officially acknowledges the legitimacy of this outcome, and sends his regards to the new 'Protector of the Jelbic Peoples', Queen Juliana I Mede.

The title of 'Protector of the Jelbic Peoples' has been vacant for a considerable amount of time. It is time, in the interest of enhanced Jelbic cooperation that the member nations of this illustrious organisation assembled to elect a new Protector. The rules remain the same as ever.

The Justice Party of Barmenia casts two votes for Khan Shlajkai Genzismrko Vrn.

Vanuku votes for the only nominee and goes back to isolationist drinking.
