Dumisana Shanangu, Foreign Minister of the Ibutho Nation, has announced the formation of the Friends of the Ibutho (FOTI), an international organisation dedicated to "furthering understanding and respect for the Ibutho people and nation". Political parties from all nations are welcome to affiliate for 1000 Beads per year, and individuals from across Terra are welcome to join for 50 Beads per year. Upon joining, members will receive the following:

- a signed photograph of the Great Elephant, His Royal Highness Chief Mlungisi himself.

- a photograph of Ellie, the tiger who serves as the FOTI's mascot.

- a beautiful basket, hand-crafted by the Ibutho out of all that telephone wire the Dundorfians kindly gave us last year and we never got round to using...

Speaking about the purpose of the organisation, Dumisani Shabangu said:

We Ibutho are a greatly misunderstand and much wrongly-maligned people. That is why we need an organisation like FOTI to combat all of the ignorance and prejudice that is out there. Every single person in Terra can make a difference - whoever they are. You can be an ambassador for the Ibutho people in their struggle for acceptance.
