The Badaran Child Welfare Association (BCWA) charity has been launched today by Ameena Siddiqui, a trained teacher and also the daughter of Badara's President Abdul Wadood Siddiqui. The BCWA is dedicated towards eliminating child poverty, tackling child abuse and improving the quality of children's education, and also nutrition.

Ameena Siddiqui has issued a call to "all well-meaning governments, organisations and persons around Terra" to "donate what resources you can to us, so that we can give the children of Badara a better future".

Donors are invited to pledge their donations below.

The President of Likatonia, Michael Plainview, would like to donate 3 million Likath (LIK) to the Badaran Child Welfare Association. He sends his regards and hopes this will assist your cause.

BCWA launches drive to stock school libraries

Image

Badaran Child Welfare Association Chief Executive held a press conference today to launch a special appeal for donations to "fill the shelves of our school libraries with books". She continued:

This is absolutely vital for the future of our children. Too many schools have a woefully poor supply of books, and this is just not good enough. We need to get our children reading - and that means we've got to give them books! Not old, outdated books - but the best books available to help them with their learning. I appeal to everybody who cares about children and Badara to donate generously to this appeal.
