Prizes are issued on basis:
Shaper Prize - to the person/party who shall have changed the planets political climate most significantly
Rising Star Prize - to the political party established in preceding decade who shall have made the most important appearance
Peace Prize - to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity among nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses

Process:
Information - done on regular basis using Events form
Nomination - starts 8th year of the decade using Candidate form
Voting - starts 9th year of the decade using Vote form. It lasts till the end of 0th year of next decade.

Please note you can nominate any candidate but you can not vote for your character, party or organization both IC and OOC

I'd nominate the Terran Caliphate leader, but I don't know his name...don't crucify me please.

edit; I guess the creation of the Terran Caliphate. And the above name, if someone could provide it, would go for Shaper.

Candidate/Party: Caliph Yaqub I
Reason: Yaqub is the Head of State of the Holy Terran Caliphate, and through his actions has incited Islamic revolutions throughout Terra. Already he controls Kafuristan, Al'Badara, and Talmoria. This rapid change in the power structure of the world, as well as the Islamic uprisings everywhere makes him very worthy of such an award.

Award: Rising Star
Candidate/Party: Caliph Yaqub I / Terran Caliphate
Reason: Already controls three nations, and is continuing to gain influence in other nations. Add in the Islamic uprisings he's started. Basically the same thing as the other reason.

Reason: Has shown his impartiality in negotiations. Has advanced NATO's commitment of neutrality in the world. Has attended many conferences where he has shown the world the need and importance of peace and security and how this can be achieved through neutrality.


I nominate my own candidate because nothing major that I know of has happened. Besides, I am greedy.

Because we have no one for peace I will nominate Mr Lincoln for peace as well

Candidate: Egoist Virginatos
Reason: He is the new leader of the GPO and the shaper of many things to come for the GPO's side of action table. He's the most corrupted man in Kalopia and the authorities have recognized numerous murder conducted by himself, although no clues were ever announced. He has already built and established a dictatorship in Kalopia and is currently planning the path of the new age of the GPO.
