The Secretariat of the GA-URSR released the following Statement;

The Secretariat wished to inform the General Assembly of a current situation occuring in Beitenyu involving the Fascist Democratic Yeudist Party Government and the Revolutionary Workers Party Of Beitenyu opposition and member of the GA-URSR. This message was recieved only minutes ago;
TO the Secretariat of the GA-URSR,

At the moment our revolutionary movement's existence is being threatened. A spontaneous parade of legally armed men and women marching in support of our movement has been twisted by the ruling party, to say that it is the armed branch of our political movement. We are currently being investigated for such baseless charges, and a ban on future meetings is being discussed by the national police. We humbly request that the Secretariat bring this situation to the attention of the General Assembly, so that an international legal defense team may be sent to our aid. We await your response.

Sincerely,

Aleksander Ferman
Party Chair - RWPB

The Secretariat emplores the General Assembly to debate this issue and come up with a plan of action on how we will deal with this situation.

The Secretariat Of The GA-URSR released the following statement;

The Secretariat has recieved the following message from Révolution Rouge concerning the Beitenyu Crisis;
We should support a revolution in Beitenyu, it's a fascist regime that allows child labour and segregation and we think it's high time to do something about it, if the RWPB's paramilitary wing is fighting i say that all members of the GA-URSR that holds a paramilitary wing should send what troops they can spare to the Beitenyu revolution and make all member countries of the URSR send their army to fight against the Eisberger regime.

While we agree that a revolution will be inevitable, the current strategy of the RWPB is to build support for a proper Proletarian-led revolution. Our efforts at doing this are being headed by a Committee on Proletarian Education, which strives to raise the class consciousness of Beiteynu's working class. At the moment, we are biding our time. We have expressly asked for a legal defense team to come to our aid, not an international brigade of militiamen. While the latter action, may be necessary at some point in the future, we feel that it is in our best interest to stay a legal and non-violent party at the moment. We humbly ask that the General Assembly consider our proposal for the formation of a legal defense team from the best professionals of member states.

Signed,

Aleksander Ferman

Niccolo Zito, Leader of Partito Comunista Istaliano - Istalia

The PCI, although fully supporting the need for a revolution in Beitenyu in the future, understands the wishes of the RWPB and hence supports their proposal for currently non military support from the URSR. The PCI however, also believes that bringing the situation to international attention may be useful, by highlighting how the Beitenyese Fascist government has broken it's own laws in order to crack down on a lawful opposition party. Maybe by doing this we may gather increased support for intervention, allowing us to have more justification for a possible revolutionary event in future.
