REVOLUTIONARY REPORT
The Rise And Fall Of The Badaran CPRU - A Critical Analysis
By The Committee For Revolutionary Communist Action

The recent collapse of the Badaran Government and the exile of it's leader and party may have come as a surprise to many people within the movement. The CPRU, now known as the People's Party Of Badara, had for many years been the bulwark of the Communist struggle in Majatra, providing the groundwork for subsequent revolutions in Jelbania, Lourenne and most recently Kalistan, all under the banner of the URSR. Its conflict with the counter-revolutionary forces which still plague the country to this day was one of the bloodiest conflicts of recent times, and the party's ability to sustain Socialism throughout has brought it great praise from the international community and reverence to its late leader Abdul Amari.
However, the Party still never the less made major mistakes throughout the course of its control in Badara, mistakes which ultimately led to its current fall from grace and second exile. Now let us look back at the history of the CPRU and critically analyse its mistakes so that the movement may grow stronger by their efforts.

Revolution and Counter Revolution 4244 - 4248

The CPRU, then the United Democratic Communist Party, formed in 4244 out of the break up of the Badaran liberal government. The Progressive Party, which for decades had been the bourgeoisie's main asset in the country, had collapsed, and several nationalist parties had come and gone. The Leader Of Mankind Party, a Bourgeois party which had for a long time been on the outskirts of Badaran politics, seized power in December 4244. Abdul Amari, seeing the opportunity for revolution in the poverty ridden and militarily weak Union Of Badara, brought forward a list of proposals, one which included the implementation of Democratic Workers Councils in all industries, and an increase in State control and centralisation. The LMP, seeing the economic situation and the rising power of the CPRU in Badaran politics, attempted to save face by supporting many of the proposals. However it was too late, the CPRU were able to take power in the election of May 4246 and to begin to enforce proto-Socialist policies, mainly involving the DWC's and state investment and regulation. These proposals dramatically increased production in Badara, specifically in heavy industry which was before the revolution lagging behind the rest of Terra. However, the destruction of the Bourgeoisie economically but not socially led to a backlash and in September 4246 the Badaran Conservative Union began an insurgency campaign with the LMP, now the United Conservative Forces, as its main political base.
Due to economic support from outside the country, the Insurgency quickly grew in numbers as foreign mercenaries and paramilitary groups flooded the East of Badara. The CPRU understandably made several strategic errors in the opening stages of the conflict, most notably leaving the majority of al-Salmania undefended and focusing solely on the Marakesh Front. This allowed the insurgents to gain a foothold for further troops, such as Galduridos' paramilitaries, to reinforce them. In 4247, after the insurgents carried out attacks in Istalia and across Badara, a series of interventions were carried out by Istalian and Beitenyese forces, with an intervention by Kafuristan at the time a real possibility.

Intervention and Exile 4248 - 4255

The CPRU, during the course of the war, repeatedly requested support from the Istalian government and the Security Council, in order to pressure the Beitenyese government to end support for the counter-revolutionaries. However, the WC took ever increasing steps to end the war in favour of the Coalition, including threatening Kafuristan into ending its support of the Badaran Government, along with factions supporting the sanctioning of Istalia.
The Beitenyese government, however was able to continue supporting the insurgency with ever greater means, going so far as to bomb Badaran military assets and supply heavy ordinance to the Counter-Revolution. It was with Beitenyese help that the UCF was able to take power in March 4255.
However, another event led to the collapse, most notably internal military betrayal by commanders and troops at the front sympathetic to Bourgeois goals. Hence, the CPRU was forced into exile to Istalia, where they stayed in hiding with their ally the Istalian Communist Party.

Return and Lamentation 4259 - 4276

Abdul Amari, via the help of his Istalian comrades, was able to gain enough supplies and supporters to secretly return to Badara in 4259 and begin a Revolutionary Insurgency. Based in al-Fostat, the Insurgency carried out hit and run attacks on unsuspecting convoys, and blew up military arms caches throughout the countryside. In November 4259 Amari first appeared on air in an undisclosed location, calling for popular overthrow of the UCF regime. The UCF had effectively returned major parts of Badara to Capitalism, but had struggled to control the countryside, or gain the support of the population. This would ultimately lead to their downfall when in April 4260 a popular uprising in Dar as-Salam expelled them from government and placed the CPRU back into power. The Government began to rebuild the country, whilst fighting Coalition remnants in Marakesh and al-Salmania. They also began a coordinated campaign of purging the majority of officials involved in the UCF regime who stilled held offices. However, they didn't carry out major investigations into Coalition conspirators within the party itself. Their main concern was the rebuilding of the economy, the removal of Beitenyese troops from Badara, and the crushing of the Coalition insurgency.
In 4276 Abdul Amari passed away. This shocking event destabilised the party, leading to Usama Safar being elected General Secretary to the surprise of many observers.

Incompetency and Collapse 4276 - 4280

Usama Safar, still the present leader of the party in exile, wasn't popular within many sections of the established party intelligencia. However, he was popular amongst the party base and had been a close friend of Amari. He had been President Of The Assembly during the Union of Badara, and Chair Of Foreign Affairs for most of his career.
Safar struggled during his time as General Secretary to get the support of the Politburo in most decisions. This highly limited his ability to maintain control of the party. Many Politburo Delegates and Delegate Council Chairs were upset with their failure to take the position of General Secretary. There was also rumours of a faction sympathetic to the counter revolutionaries. However, Safar was unable to carry out investigations due to a lack of Party and Council support.
Safar's failed intervention in Jelbania further cemented hostility to his leadership within the upper Echelons of the party. This would ultimately lead to Party collapse. In 4280, right wing supported military troops carried out a Coup attempt. Safar, convinced the Politburo had betrayed him, and fearing his life, fled the country, as the Coup fractured and the government collapsed.

Conclusion

Many factors were involved in the fall of the CPRU and the collapse of the Socialist government in Badara. However, most notable was a lack of control and discipline within the party, as well as an inability for Bourgeois elements to be purged. This inability to curb Counter-Revolutionary growth within the party itself, as well as the government and society as a whole, has led to the Civil War's continuation and the party's collapse. If there is anything to be taken from the catastrophe in Badara, is that party discipline and vigilance are matters of life and death in this age of revolution and counter - revolution.

REVOLUTIONARY REPORT
The Reactionary Nature Of Bourgeois Democracy - Case Study Kalistan
By The Committee For Revolutionary Communist Action

Bourgeois Representative Democracy has today struck down its latest victim. The People's Republic Of Kalistan has collapsed, and with it the last Socialist State outside of Badara. The Bourgeois nature of the democratic process within Kalistan was seen by the Communist Party there as a shining example of the success of their political system. However, it also spelled the downfall of their government and of the People's Republic itself. Today we shall use the Kalistani situation to investigate the causes of this collapse and ultimately why Metzist-Leonidists do not support Liberal Bourgeois Democratic process.
