The Office of Prime Minister is Merged with that of the Presidency
Image
This Morning after much debate the Knesset authorized the passage of the merger bill that would effectively combine the head of government with that of the state. Herut member and current president of Beiteynu, Wilhelm Meyer was officially swore in via a solemn oath upon the holy Katub as given by Rabbi Josef Klein with the promise that Meyer would fulfill his duties as President of Beiteynu in accordance to the wishes of the people and the constitution. let us hope for the best upon this day.

The Beiteynuese Defense Forces conduct their final parade as the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Home Guard are disbanded

at 12 pm Beiteynu marked the end of an era as the Defense Forces conducted what was to be their final parade before hundreds of thousands of Beiteynuese citizens gathered in Yishelem's Football Stadium. columns of men dressed in olive green uniforms brandishing assault rifles and a wide variety of small arms marched on past as The Saint's was played by the military police band before quickly being followed up by a stirring rendition of the national anthem. these brave souls marched away into the annuals of history with their heads held high.

Marxist Opposition Party formed
Image
in an industrial facility not far from Yishelem a small group of intellectuals and disillusioned factory workers gather to announce the establishment of The Yeudish Left Alliance with the intention of creating a worker's and peasant's state while also calling for the abolition of free market capitalism. the party advocates among other things Left wing nationalism, Revolutionary Democratic Worker's councils, and a strong central government. lead by Avraham Halevi the new party has yet to earn a following and with that in mind seats in the Knesset as determined by elections.

Friedrich Neumannstein dead at 67
Image
Friedrich Neumannstein was a politician, a statesman, a soldier, a father, and a husband. he was born the oldest son of Yeudish refugees from Dorvik who had previously enjoyed a comfortably middle class life prior to the rise of anti-Yeudish sentiment which force them to immigrate to the newly formed nation of Beiteynu. it was here that his parents raised him on classical Dorvik literature, theater, and art along with a superb sense of discipline that stayed with him until his recent departure. at age 16 he enrolled at the University of Yishelem where he received a triple first for his studies on history and political philosophy by the time he was 20. not long after that Neumannstein enlisted in the Beiteynuese Defense Forces rising to the rank of Corporal before return home from active duty. at 26 he married Katherina Rosenthal the second child born of wedlock via a Yeudish couple also of Dorvik origins. the two managed to have a family of four with 1 son and 3 daughters (Ludwig, Erika, Anne, Rosa). from the age of 30 to 54 Neumannstein worked as a professor at the University of Yishelem before co-founding the league of revisionists with Zeev Bronstein. at 58 he became the party's leader from which he decided to change the name of the party to Herut a Yeudish word meaning Liberty. his wife of many years Rosenthal died at the age of 56 just shy of her 57th birthday due to complications relating to TB. now 60 years old Neumannstein succeeded in becoming the first Herut head of state a post he held until his 65 year of life. during the course of his presidency Neumannstein was able to free the market and limit the size of government in Beiteynu with little opposition. he retired at 65 retreating to a small apartment a few miles away from Yishelem. he died recently aged 67 as a result of a massive stroke. his is to be given a state funeral very soon.
