The Scientian Journal (abbreviated as TSJ) is an online newspaper published by the Scientian Information Association and is considered the official voice of the Scientian government.

Scientians will now be able to grow their hair and wear different styles of clothing — albeit with regulations.

This month the Assembly of the Scientian Enclave reached consensus on the legalization of hair growth and more clothing choices. The previous mandate that required Scientians to shave their heads and wear nearly a limited selection of uniforms was deemed unnecessary. Regulations of appearance will ensure residents maintain standards of utility, modesty, and decency.

Appearance regulations mandated the following in specific:

1. Clothing shall primarily be focused on providing optimal function and comfort
2. All styles must cover the private regions of the body and maintain a modest appearance
3. Hair, including facial hair, may be grown, but must not interfere with job performance or have an untidy appearance

These regulations do not override present restrictions on offensive expression, such as materials intended to incite social division.
