Axis Agreement Organization Announces New Reforms

Axis Headquarters- The Axis Agreement Organization, considered one of the, or if not the, largest political and military alliances on Terra, especially after the collapse of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, has undergone a far-reaching domestic reform effort, according to a statement released by the Axis Leadership Council. This statement comes after several months of talks within the organization among the leaders of the Axis about ideas and other thoughts about how to better run the organization going into a new period of prosperity and a surge of new membership. According to the statement, attached with to another memo outlining the new roles of each new position, the Axis Agreement Organization has created an entirely new body within it’s rank of leadership, called the “Axis Directorate”, which devolves responsibility of maintaining Axis contact with member nations and parties, recruitment, and events watch to specific continents, to “Directors” which in turn report to the Leadership Council on matters concerning the organization in their continent. There were also three other Director positions created; the Media, Foreign Affairs, and Military Directorships were also created in these new reforms, responsible for exactly what their Director name calls for. Axis Commander Carl van Kinsbergen, who was at these talks, told reporters that the reforms “were much needed” to ensure greater “communication, policy control, and strength” within the Organization; “I applaud the work by my fellow Commanders,” told Kinsbergen. “We worked hard throughout the months to figure out the best way to go with this reorganization and I firmly believe that with these reforms with benefit us greatly, both in the Leadership Council, and for our member nations and parties”.

Currently the Axis Agreement Organization is performing well under these reforms as activity within the Organization has jumped considerably, both for established and new members. Just within the last decade, six new nations have ratified the Axis Agreement Treaty, two of which ratified the treaty within just under a year of each other. Majatra, a continent which currently holds the largest rate of membership for the Organization (only four nations out of the whole continent have not ratified the AAT), has seen an explosion of new membership, and activity, as nations like Jelbania and Bardara are getting themselves known to the Organization. Axis Director of Majatra, Felix Herman, who is also the Axis Director of Foreign Affairs, told the press that the Axis is “very well established within the Majatra continent” and success there marks the “high level of respect and strength the Organization holds there”, as well as the “tight-nit” Axis community in Majatra. Majatra also holds the largest membership rate within the Axis concerning ratification of the Axis Military Treaty, with only six not ratifying it.

Axis Agreement Organization Welcomes Kirlawa Into Ranks

Axis Organization Also Welcomes Rildanor and Malivia delegations to Headquarters

Axis Headquarters- The Axis Leadership Council earlier today concluded their meeting with representations and delegates from the Republic of Kirlawa, a north-eastern Artanian nation which recently has ratified the “Axis Agreement Treaty” or the AAT, thus becoming a member of the illustrious organization. The Leadership Council released a statement signed by the Axis Directorate shortly following the meeting, saying the meeting between the delegations “were very productive” and the Council “looks forward in Kirlawa taking a productive role within the organization”; Kirlawa will join the nations of Rildanor and Malivia who in the past years have also ratified the Axis Agreement Treaty. The Axis Director of Artania, Krueger Weithard, told reporters that has “long been a contributing member of the Artanian political community” and the Axis shall value Kirlawa’s membership; “Kirlawa’s entrance into the organization shows the international community that membership within the Axis continues to grow and that despite reckless claims made by observers, our organization still maintains wide influence on the Terran world community”, told Lord Wiethard. “As a member of the Axis, Kirlawa will maintain their domestic sovereignty while at the same time working with many other nations and leaders to see through the business of the Axis; I do look very much forward in seeing that Kirlawa is productive within our alliance”. While not put forward to the Kirlawan legislature yet, discussions concerning Kirlawa’s entrance into the Axis Military Treaty have been brought up, and many suspect that the topic came up during the meeting the two sides held earlier; it is unknown the status of Kirlawa’s entrance into the military treaty, however if they were to ratify it, they would also join the nations again of Rildanor and Malivia who have also ratified the AMT. The Axis Military Treaty guarantees mutual protection of all member states through military assistance and has over 16 member nations; the Military Director of the Axis was unable to comment directly to the press on Kirlawa’s entrance but was noted to have been at the meeting earlier today.

Axis Director of Seleya Guy Besancon however was available for contact and spoke to reporters outside the Axis Headquarters. “Currently Kirlawa is in the process of getting themselves established in the organization and getting to know the various players involved in the alliance,” told Guy Besancon. “It is known that other members of the organization not involved in the Leadership Council will also meet with the Kirlawan delegation and have their chance as well to establish relations. The Axis values the membership of all nations and political parties, we strive to make sure all member’s voices are heard, and opinion taken into account; our organization does not pry itself into the domestic politics of member nations, contrary to claims made by opponents, even Article III of the Axis Agreement Treaty specifically states no member nation can not interfere with the national sovereignty of another but do work to include both big and small nations in decision making”.

As noted, the nations of Rildanor and Malivia have also ratified both Axis treaties. A very similar meeting has also taken place with the respective delegates of those member nations. Rildanor has long been known for it’s stance on monarchy but recently changed governments to republic; this has not become in issue however in the Axis as the organization does not bias against form of government. The Rildanor delegation to the Axis has become quite productive in the organization observers have noted, with the leader of the Rildanor delegation being speculated on becoming a Deputy-Director in the Axis Directorate; no confirmation has yet been made but it is widely accepted such a nomination may occur in the near future.

Hutori Joins Axis

Postby chamon » Wed Sep 01, 2010 10:20 am

The Hutori National Party led state of Hutori has ratified the Axis Agreement and Axis Military Agreement. Hutori is believed to have signed up for tthe Axis to protect its sovereignity in the face of controversial legislation recently introduced by the HNP. All member states of the Axis are now forbidden by the terms of the treaty to critisise the HNP Government. Hutori has re-instated its rightful Monarch but the HNP have set up their own Totalitarian state based on the HNP ideology of racial purity. The HNP seek to make 100% of the population native "Hutors" who currently stand at 70% of the population.

With domestic issues aside the HNP are looking to isolate themselves on an international stage and minimise critism of their regime. Joining an alliance with 20 Member states will ensure Hutorian domestic policy can proceed unquestioned by these nations. The HNP have turned Hutori into a so-called "rogue state" and our military strength - if called upon - would be a great asset for the Axis Armed Forces to have in its reserves. Nevertheless the HNP Prime Minister Duke Richards - himself a former Hutorian Army General - has welcomed the Axis to Hutori and has asked any members to send a delegation to Hutori to increase ties with the organisation or their individual nation. The PM has also informed all parties in the Axis that they are welcome to adress the HNP Conference currently being held in Hutoris Capital Bekenial. (viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2841)
