It is our thinking that the nomination in question was in order and that the nominee could be as excellent a chair as a sister. Juhuriat al-Badara has examined the qualifications of Dr. Evangelos Galanakos and will vote for him should at some point the nominations close and an actual vote begin.

To resolve this situation every side needs to make compromises. Therefor as Chairman of the MEA i suggest we unanimously nominate Evangelos Galanako as the new chairman. I understand the desire for the Jelbanian delegation to propose their own candidate but unfortunately the deadline to present such candidates has passed and new candidates cannot put themselves forward any longer. Does a majority of member states agree to the proposal i just made? I believe it is in the best interest of this organization to finally nominate a chairman that is capable which i believe Evangelos Galanako is.

If Dr. Galanakos answers the question posed by Representative Karak, will Representative Karak then be willing to vote on the motion of the chair or does Representative Karak plan to have other questions before any forward progress can be made on this matter? If there are other matters he intends to discuss prior to proceeding, what are they?
