The Commonwealth of Luthorian Nations is a union of nations who share a bond created through their shared history, cultural ties or speaking the Luthorian language. The origin of these ties lie in them being a part of the historic Luthorian colonial empire. The Commonwealth focusses on the development of each member through promoting cooperation on economic, diplomatic, cultural and military matters. The Commonwealth's headquarters are located in Fort William, Luthori. All decisions made by the Commonwealth are made by the members of the respective governments through an anual summit.

The Commonwealth hosts its first Commonwealth Championships
The Commonwealth countries will host the Commonwealth Championships to promote cultural understanding and harmony amongst peoples through sports

Fort William, Commonwealth Headquarters – The representatives of the Commonwealth have announced today in name of the member states that they have decided to announce the creation of the Commonwealth Championships. The Commonwealth Championships will be held next year in Tropica.

Bringing people and countries closer together
The organisation known as the Commonwealth is a intergovernmental organisation created by the nations that formerly made up the Luthorian colonial empire or have a cultural connection through migration from Luthori. The mission of the Commonwealth is to bring these people’s closer in understanding and cooperate on various issues. One such issue is the preservation of local culture, increasing cultural understanding and increased brotherhood between the various nations. Through this cooperation the Commonwealth is a true family of nations that strengthen economic, cultural and diplomatic ties.

However up until now nothing was done to bring people closer together other than allowing students to travel for studies within the Commonwealth. That changes today with the Commonwealth announcing the first inter-Commonwealth sports competition namely the Commonwealth Championships! It is the believe of the Council of Ministers for Sports and Culture of the Commonwealth that such a great event will bring people closer together in brotherhood, understanding and sportsmanship. For what else brings people together than friendly competition, sports and setting a goal by testing oneself against another?

Various sports competitions
Teams and sportsmen from various countries of various genders and ages compete to win Golden Rose medals and seek glory. But most of all it is a fun time for everyone involved. During a period of two weeks the following sports will be played:

- Cricket
- Hockey
- Football
- Athletics
- Swimming
- Archery
- Fencing
- Rowing

Tropica the first country to host the event
The honour of hosting the first Commonwealth Championships is Tropica. The move was made to showcase that the Commonwealth is more than just Luthori, Hutori and Mordusia. Besides that it is a great chance for various peoples around the Commonwealth to experience the rich culture, cuisine and history of Tropica and its connection to the other Commonwealth nations.
