I appreciate the self-assuredness of Mr. Belosnezhek, but I see the issue in a different light. Conflicts are all of different character, involving different actor and various circumstances. Therefore, there cannot be made generalizations about conflict-resolution. A conflict inherently means a break and there cannot always be built bridges. The UNT means a framework of conflict-management but also limits the extent to which these conflicts can be solved.
If a general rule can be established, I would say that a conflict is like a text and within this text we have many possible scenarios. To put an end to the story I, as Secretary General of the UNT, would try to suggest the best possible scenario, bringing rational arguments to all the actors involved.
There are some principles which I consider sacrosanct: 1. the sovereignty of the nations; 2. the rationality of the decision-makers; 3. the equality of the opinions.
I am aware of the fact that conflict-management is a difficult task, but I promise that if elected, I will make every possible step within the framework of international legislation and good-faith to put to a happy end each and every conflict that occurs and belongs to the jurisdiction of the UNT.

Henry Cusanus,
Candidate to the office of Secretary General of the UNT

Seen that there are no more questions for the candidates, we will now proceed to a vote. Each member shall have one vote and shall select only one of the candidates for Secretary General. Please keep in mind the candidates qualifications, their answers to the questions asked, and how appropriate they are for this very important job.

Let's vote ladies and gentleman.

OOC: I'll give it about three days or so. That should be plenty of time.

The Jewish Homeland votes for, Henry Cusanus, we feel he is the most fit. Also, unlike his opponent he shows no bias.
