UNT General Assembly Meeting of May 2755

Postby Mr.Yankees » Wed May 13, 2009 1:35 am

On the Agenda:

1- Selecting the new non-permanent members of the Security Council for the next term starting on April 2760.
a) According to the UNT charter, non-permanent members are not able to be elected for two consecutive terms. However, we do not have enough members to choose ten new non-permanent members. So, those countries that have not yet served a term will be automatically chosen (currently it's 5 countries) and the others will have to come from the current non-permanent members. It is up for debate what countries will be chosen.

2- Selecting a new Secretary General upon receiving the recommendation letter from the Security Council.

3- Security Council report and DIC reports.

4- Any other issues brought forward by the members.
Fighting for the people, supported by the people.

Rutania intents to be member of the Security Council in the next term as well. We believe that we have proven our activeness and willingness to act in the cooperate with the other member states. Furthermore, Rutania is a firm believer of collective action, international discussions and consensus.

Though not a member of the UNT anymore due to certain resentment from parties in Kirlawa, the government of Kirlawa would still like to make a suggestion about bringing economic sanctions against Hobrazia if it is found through the DIC that they have committed any violations.

Signed,

President Aaron Reynolds
Republic of Kirlawa

I must point out that Vorona does not keep the procedural rules of the investigation. The DIC as a whole can issue a report to the General Assembly. As I see Vorona accepted to chair the DIC only inorder to incriminate Lodamun.
Besides the document Vorona drafed is a kind of fairy tale, conspiracy theory and logical paradox. We would ask Vorona in the name of the UNT to take seriously its role and act in accordance with it.

'The Voronan government accepted the role of head of the DIC in order to help the people's of nations that lacked democratic governments. If our report is a fairy tale then why did several Lodamunese citizens have this same 'fairy tale dream"?
