Dearest Michel Frine,
There is no need to apologize for language, we all speak one type or another. As long as we are being frank, We will answer your question, and in turn, we wish for you to answer our questions. New Mordusia belongs to Mordusia, and Alduria has no claim to it. That is the same as us demanding a colony from Luthori. We have no claim to it in the slightest. If we are truly a sovereign nation, then what is ours, is ours. Sovereign nations are not rebels. So if we are not a sovereign nation, then we are striving to become one. But all along the Parti Imerpial du Peuple claimed that we have the right to run our country as we see fit. But if we are allowed to do so, why are there nations attempting to block our path? It seems to those in Mordusia that we none but a puppet government, given free will to do as we please, as long as our puppeteers agree. If we are a free nation, then we are free to change our government as we see fit, not as Alduria sees fit. Since you block our way, and you block our borders with armed soldiers ready to spill into our "sovereign" land at the drop of a hat, it is clear that you do not see fit for these puppets to go through these motions.
To answer your question, what we find wrong with our current system of government, is that we are not 100% free to do with our nation as we see fit, with the power given to us by the people, the billions of Mordusians, people of Mordusia. These are not people of Alduria, nor are they the people of Luthori. They have given us their voice to cry out with, their minds to think with, and their hands to take action with. Clearly billions of voices, hands, and minds are not what it takes to run a country, but one mind, one voice, and one pair of hands. Those all belong to one man, the Emperor. If the Emperor truly does not want something done, he uses that mind to raise the hands to carry out the voice's bidding, drowning out billions of people. Is this right? Not in Mordusia. Mordusia will become a republic. None here shall stop that. Mordusia will become a republic as a result of these talks. Without bloodshed, without threats, and without war. The only thing it will come with is compromise and understanding. But I digress. The power bestowed upon us by the citizens of Mordusia is worth as much as the dirt on my shoe, because the Emperor holds the real power, which is the case for Luthori and Alduria. Mordusia clearly is not free to do as it pleases, because their are nations who wish to stop them at every turn in some of their decisions. That is what is what we find wrong with our government, and we wish to change that.
Now it is time for you to answer our questions.
If this is a truly free union, why are we not free to leave without the threat of force? And what epic change will be brought about in your respective nations if Mordusia becomes a free republic? We have promised to maintain levels of trade, with the option to increase. We want to remain close allies, and protect each other from threats abroad. Nothing will change, other than the government of our country. We will continue to fight together as brothers, and we shall continue to trade and prosper as brothers, the only difference is one brother has a different hair color than the other two, if you understand my meaning.
Continuing on with the propositions, New Mordusia is not for sale, end of story. The new Emperor can be called "His Imperial and Most Excellent Majesty, Emperor George III of Luthori & I of Alduria & Mordusia" But he can not be called The Emperor of Mordusia alone. Why? Because Mordusia would have no Emperor.
And one final thing. I quote you when I say "You want to play a question game then answer what are your real motives for this, for it is in no damn way the people's good will. Otherwise you would realize that the current system is the best for it has both monarchist and republicanist parts in it.".
I will answer this. Our real motive is to obtain a free republic where the people of Mordusia may be heard over all else. No one, not the Emperor, nor any political party with a seat in the Parliment, may drown them out. But apparently that is not our true motive. Because according to you, and ultimately the Emperor, the current system is what is best for our free, sovereign nation, that we can not control. Do you see the irony in this? The people of Mordusia want a republic. They want duly elected officials to speak for them. They don't want a monarch, to tell them what to do, they want to tell us what to do. To have the Emperor in this thus would not be the best system. For you to tell us, and force us, otherwise would only go to show that we are not a free nation as you claim, but truly a vassel state that has limitations, unlike the limteless power of truly independent nations.
If we are rebels, we are not the government, because a government can not revolt against anything, but the people can revolt against a government. I cede the floor to you with one final question. Are we rebels, or a sovereign nation?
