OOC:
Announcement for everyone: Same rules as before apply. This is done in order to preserve the integrity of this meeting. Unless you are a member of the Security Council and that is, if you are the ambassador from your country, you cannot post here. Your transmission should go directly to the Secretary General, who will, in turn, transmit it to us of he thinks it is necessary. Representatives from non-member countries (Foreign Affairs Ministers, Head of States, etc.), you can post here only if you are bringing up an issue to the Security Council or you are explicitly allowed to comment by the Security Council. It is recommended that if you are bringing up an issue to the Security Council, you submit it to the Secretary General first. If the issue is of grave importance, you may bring it up straight to the Security Council. Exercise your best judgment. That will make the process much faster and less complicated for all of us. And, yes, all of this is in the charter. Feel free to read it. Members, please try to limit your OOC posting as much as possible. Non-members, please refrain from OOC posting unless it is critical (life or death) to do so.

I appreciate your cooperation.

Pontesian representative, took a sip of his coffee, cleared his throat and stood slowly and deliberately, he straightened his tie and began.

"The Pontesian Dynastic Empire would like to bring the civil war and the violation of human right in Beiteynu to the consideration of the UNT Security Council. We firmly believe that Beiteynu in it's current state is a considerable threat to Terra with their large military forces and nuclear weapon. The UNT must take action to reestablished peace and security in the region or we may risked the chance that the nuclear weapon may fall into terrorist hand."

He bowed and then returned to his seat.

The last information we received was that the Civil War had ended. However, we do agree with the Pontesian representative in the assertion that Beiteynu in Civil War poses a great threat for Terra. Certainly, the possession of nuclear weapons is a problem. If these weapons fall in the wrong hands, we may have the biggest security threat in the history of Terra.

We ask the Beiteynu representative to give a thorough explanation of the current situation. We ask for a sincere and truthful assessment.

Thank you.

The situation in the homeland is sound. We are now trying the perpetrators of this conflict in our court system and are enforcing laws that will do nothing but strengthen our nation as a whole. The Civil war ended after the DSPB lost its majority in Padrilka. Our nuclear arsenal is safely hidden away in the Mehoz of Fruskila in the west of our nation, as to protect them from Pontesian or Barminian invasion. We have them guarded as well as we can and will make sure that they will not fall into the wrong hands.

We would be happy to answer questions on the topic if any representatives have any.

Afterwards, we would like to bring to attention the new Barministan/Pontesian Alliance. These two nations have shown much hostility to the Jewish Homeland and the Jewish people as a whole, especially the National Socialist Barmenia Worker Party, and the Democrat Party of Barministan. As a nation and people we are very worried. Their blantent anti-semitism is very scary to our nation, and we are fearful of an invasion by these two nations. We would also like this spoken about in the security council.

I personally have no reason to doubt the statements made by the representative from Beiteynu. The information we currently have backs up her statements. The violation of human rights claim should, of course, continue to be discussed here. From Lodamun's perceptive and based on our current information, we have not seen any violations of human rights. However, we would like to see what information the Pontesian government currently holds with respect to this issue. I would also like to see evidence of Beiteynu's claim and request a private meeting with Madam Margalita Shira Bar-Nahal.

By the statements made by both Madam Margalita Shira Bar-Nahal and the Pontesian representative, it seems as if both nations are trying to play a blame game. Ladies and Gentlemen of this Council, this is not a game nor will it ever be. We do not have time for pointless claims and petty bickering over centuries old feud. Now, if the claims are real, feel free to bring it up as you have done just now but don' try to throw us into an endless precipice of debate over who is to blame for what.

Thank you.

Pontesian representative, Mr. Stephen Beck, direct his assistant to distribute copies of documents to members of the Security Council before turning directly to the delegate of Beiteynu and start speaking:

"Madam Shira Bar-Nahal, we in the Pontesian Dynastic Empire have made several change in policy during the past 10 years and I'm pleased to said that none of them had been a discrimination of any kind aganist Pontesian Jewish population. We are also deeply concerned that the Beiteynu government feel that our action here had any other motive then the desire to established peace in Northern Majatran. We will now present the security council with document A"

He pick up the first document on the table.

"Please take a clear look at a discussion in the Knesset of Beiteynu that indicate a violation of human right by DSPB or Beit Hava Elisheva Yišsérles (GPO), this is a clear example of the fact that serious human right violation occur and that the civil war is still ongoing inside Beiteynu. Although we are concerned that there is a possiblity that the same action is also being done by the Zionist government, we have yet to confirmed that information. We can only confirmed that the law of Beiteynu allowed torture aganist crime suspect and that it had been done several time before in the past to Pntek population."

"Document B and Document C displayed an armed faction with a clear attempt to engage in civil war with DSPB. This faction had made it clear that they start an armed conflict in Fadrilka"

"Document D also indicates a clear popularity of DSPB in two states and we still can't find resolution by the local government of Padrilka announcing their return as a part of Beiteynu or the end of socialist state. All of this reports indicates a continuous conflict in the region, one that we can't be sure will not escalated to a nuclear warfare despite the claim that may or may not be confirmed that the weapon is safe."

He took another sip of his coffee and move to two boards displaying a pictures.

"We also have several picture from one of our surveillance satellite showing mass grave from genocide aganist communist in Padrilka and abondon vehicles from people escaping Padrilka."

He returned to the table and finished his speech.

"With regard to Pontesi-Barmenia relation, we're please to announced that our close cooperation with Barmenia comes after we have rectify our problem with the nation that escalated during the Caliphate. Pontesi and Barmenia have signed a non-aggression pact. I failed to see how a non-aggression pact could become a military alliance to invade a nation. This is a document of peace and we urged that Beiteynu government stop their baseless claim."

"We're willing to answer any question that the security council may have regarding our situation and we will also present our drafted resolution suggestion for the response that we feel should be done to ensure that Beiteynu returned to peace and that no WMD will fall into the hand of terrorist."

He bowed and returned to his seat then start directing his assistant for more coffee.

OOC: This seems like godmoding me. Unless your country came into ours and placed the vehicles there that is fine. But if that is the case you must support your argument with an IC post of the actions. If you can't we're ignoring those pictures.

And why would people abandon their vehicles if they're escaping?
When was there a genocide against a communists?
And technically there weren't any military actions, nor was there a civil war.

OK, I'll explain this so we don't have any OOC debate on it.

Since he claimed the pictures were taken from a surveillance satellite, it is not godmoding. He can pretty much claim anything as long as he doesn't dictate the actions of your characters. Ordinary citizens do not count as YOUR characters. You can simply refute his claims and say that it was made up or that you were running a car show. Whatever you want. Freelancer did not do anything to violate any RP rules. Now, whether you agree with what he said or not has nothing to do with the rules. That's something you can debate with him in RP.

OOC: Thank you for the explanation. Being new to the RP, it helped a lot.
