His Holiness Pope Gregory I of the Selucian Catholic Church has come to visit Barmenia so as to establish Diocese in the country. The Pope was met by Queen's Regent Peter L. Marshall and Premier Jacob C Kennedy, both of which are Catholic. The Pope was also allowed the honor to speak to the Grand Assembly and is currently on a nationwide tour of the country. The Pope was received by mixed reactions by the Barmenian people; some consider His Holiness to be an arm of Selucian colonialism while others see him as a great spiritual leader. In any case, security is on high alert.
Agenda
1. Pope's power to permit and nullify royal marriages in Selucia and Barmenia.
2. Can a Catholic clergyman or a nun be allowed to enter politics at the same?
3. The establishment of Dioceses in Barmenia, the appointing of Bishops
4. Procedures for calling a Conclave in the event the current Pope dies
5. Techniques and plans for evangelism
6. A reaffirmation of traditional Catholic dogma and doctrines
And any other issues that may present themselves.
