Richard Lee Duke of Fruskila is representing the Christian Imperial Party in these talks.

------------------------------

I would like to remind the members of these talks that the late King-Emperor graciously granted the Dukedom of Fruskila to the CIP for our loyalty to the empire and not the false claimants to the throne of the Commonwealth.

We believe that there is one and only one rightful king of the Commonwealth and that is the current Gustavus II we will not accept any pretender to sit on the throne. We support our inclusion in the Commonwealth Nations Alliance and our nation's current name. We want the King-Emperor to remain our HoS and not some elected middleman. We also want the King-Emperor to remain the spiritually leader of both Christians and Jews.

The CIP has no grievance against the current system, other than we would like further inclusion into the Empire. We would like to see a nonvoting representative of the Commonwealth added to the Imperil Diet appointed by the Emperor. This member would logically only state their opinion on legislation dealing specifically with the Commonwealth.

Indeed, the Dukedom of Fruskila was granted to His Grace Duke Richard Lee after it was lost to House Yisserles due to a lack of heirs. We apologize for what was an honest mistake and greatly thank both the BNR and the CIP for their unyielding loyalty to the King.

Regarding the CIP's proposal, perhaps a more logical step would be that the Emperor appoint a member of the Privy Council as a special advisor for the Commonwealth, after consulting with the loyalist parties in the Commonwealth.

OOC: If I remember correctly, whoever used to be the owner of the Duke of Fruskila went inactive in the Commonwealth, so the title was then given to the CIP.

We would support such an arrangement, so long as the Governor-General remains the de facto head of state.

- Peter V. Hatikvah,

and BNR Leadership Committee Foreign Affairs Counsel

That will of course continue to be the case.

Are there any other issues to bring to the table. Are there proposals for a name change?

We would like to change the name to perhaps the Jewish Commonwealth of Beiteynu.

The only name change the BNR would support would be to the "Commonwealth of Beiteynu and Yishelem". What are the opinions of the other parties on this?

The CIP would support the Holy Commonwealth of Beiteynu and Yishelem. However we will vote agianst any attempt to classify the Commonwealth as strictly Jewish. There are a substantail number of Christains in this nation. We beleive holy will convey the message of religiousness without specifing one over the other.

We do not mind the inclusion of "Holy". We agree with the CIP that including the word "Jewish" in our nation's name would be unfair to our citizens who are adherents of other religions.

The BNR also suggests that the Treaty of Poesy be amended so that the names "Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu", "Commonwealth of Beiteynu and Yishelem", "Holy Commonwealth of Beiteynu and Yishelem", and "Holy Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu" be officially-sanctioned possible and permissible names under the treaty.

If we can all agree on that, the BNR has no other suggestions.

The "Monarchy" of the Jewish People is a Duarchy. Will the Dukedom of Fruskila be ruled as such?
