Great Sekowan War Ceasefire Negotiation Conference

Postby Captain-Socialist » Sun Jul 25, 2010 10:51 am

We, the High Command of the Legionary Defence Force and the High Command of the Commonwealth Forces, hereby call a ceasefire of undefined length, and as long as this ceasefire remains in force no hostilities shall commence between our forces. In order to secure this, we purpose the following measures;

1) That a demilitarised zone be established through the prefectures (Todōfuken) of Bizena and Hikala. Both sides maintain the right to patrol the Demilitarised Zone, and fire upon any who cross over onto the opposite side of the line. Such an event will not be used as an excuse to launch further hostilities. The Demilitarised Zone shall be drawn up along these lines (http://a.imageshack.us/img413/2889/sekowowarmap.png) and will be occupied only by the forces outlined on the map. The bringing of any new force into the immediate vicinity of the Demilitarised Zone will result in a resumption of hostilities, unless accompanied by a withdrawal of a force of similar size (of the same side) from the
immediate vicinity of the Demilitarised Zone.

2) That the Imperial Federation of Sekowo and the Eternal Harmony of Sekowo also cease hostilities and partition the nation along the following lines, with the Southern prefectures (Undarro and Hasowar) passing under the control of the Imperial Federation and the Northern prefectures (Lorrod, Bizena, Hikhala) remaining in the Empire Magnificent.

3) That in order to prevent future confusion, the current dynasty of the Empire Magnificent shall change their name from the Ishida Dynasty to the Yukio Dynasty, and be hence forth regarded as a separate Imperial House from the Ishida Dynasty, whose claims are to be regarded separately from the Ishida Dynasty by the International Monarchist League. The Yukio Dynasty does not claim the throne of the Imperial Federation of Sekowo, but will not relent the throne of the Empire Magnificent.

4) The blockade of the Empire Magnificent end, though tariffs will be allowed.

OOC: The CIL is out of town for a bit. I am sure the other Commonwealth nations can handle these talks well enough. However, I will represent Luthori though until he gets back. I can not speak for nation since I am in Alduria, but I can the monarch. So I will just really be a place holder until he returns.

As I said though, the other alliance members should do the talking for Luthori until the CIL gets back. Just here to confirm things really.
Long Live the Empire!!!!
And while we are at it, "Hail the Holy Britannian Empire!!!!!"

OOC:
The IFS never controlled any of Lorrod, it controls Undarro and Southern Hasowar.

It's based on the last election rather than on the military situation. The Empire has no wish to control a hostile prefecture.

OOC: Although I cant promise 100 per cent attendance (please forgive typos Im using a horrible french keyboard), Ill do my best to be present.

Anyways, this scenario is unrealistic. According to RP, Luthori never even sent troops to the northern areas. Furthermore, we occupy large portions of Undarro and southern parts of Undarro, which is where our occupation would be.

The Imperial Crownlands of Greater Hulstria shall be sending its Foreign Minister Marcellus Traustein to primarily represent our nation during these talks.

OOC: Yes the map is wrong; Luthori never sent troops to the north, only to the south. Right now Central Sekowo is where the main base of the ultra-nationalists Id suspect since the commonwealth has been moving from the north and south. I'll get Gracchus to see if he can make a new map for us to work on so we can continue with the talks.

That's completely unrealistic though.

I wo't agree to partition unless the IFS gets Undarro and Hasowar, the areas it and the Commonwealth actually controlled.

IC: The Holy Luthori Empire will send representatives to this conference, however, for its own safety, the Kumiko regime should understand that we will continue to occupy Undarro and Hasowar and that the blockade will continue as long as the Kumiko regime maintains the objective and/or the capacity of attacking homeland Luthori.

The Commonwealth of Rutania shall send a delegation representing H.M. The King of Rutania and East Dovani Augustan I and the People of Rutania. It is our greatest hope to reach a peace agreement that can last.

Our Minister of Foreign Affairs and several advisers shall make the trip to the conference.
"Keep cool and you will command everyone."
