The MU is disappointed by Vanuku's isolationist policies and its decision to make itself irrelevant on the world stage. The MU will continue to work with its coalition partners for the sake of peace, economic prosperity, and political stability. The political stability Vanuku needed was in the embrace of the MU, not the wilderness.

King Louis I of Beiteynu

"On behalf of the nation of Deltaria I would like to condemn this Union for the sanctions you have placed on my nation and our ally Cobura. We are exhausting our diplomatic means of negotiating with the MU, we have asked for your reform or dissolution, we convened an international confrence that called for your reform while your Union refused to negotiate are recognize our claims as legitimate; we shall not stand down until the Majatran Union is no more or until this organization of nations is reformed in a manner that eases the security concerns of other nations such as ourselves. The Anti Corruption resolution proposed by this union is the type of reform we desire to see. We demand that the MU reform in such a way to deter imperial expansion and take measures to ensure peace over war."

Gaduridos is worried about both side, as Premier Todd conveniently also left out that his crusade also adopted similar policies recently. Obviously I can understand the position of MU-member states, if such a policy were to be adopted against Gaduridos.

"Provision II
All nations are granted the authority to search and inspect any vessels or vehicles that are sourced from, or belong to an MU member state. Nations are allowed to confiscate any items or arrest any persons on said vessels or vehicles that may pose a threat to national or regional security."

In turn, Gaduridos would like to see a mediation between MU-states and nation-against-the-MU through a non-affiliated nation, and if no nation within Majatra comes up, then Gaduridos would like to postulate itself as the mediator. I assure you, Gaduridos has allies in both groups (Barmenia and Cobura) and thus has no stake in either side. We would like to see peace and cooperation, against true enemies of liberty and peace.

"Negotiation and a diplomatic solution has been our primary goal from the begining if the MU is willing to negotiate an agreement and mediate our differences then Deltaria will of course be open to this effort to maintain peace."

Speaking as significant members of the MU, the Presidency is in the hands of Barmenia at the moment, we would be willing to scrap the MU resolutions placing sanctions on those nations (Deltaria and Cobura) for their offensive actions against the MU in return for scraping the treaty signed by those two nations that places sanctions on MU states. What is however not negotiable is our Allied Commander post and military response procedures in the MU. It is necessary that the Allied Commander have control of all the military power of the Union in order to represent the war effort to the world but also to coordinate military operations. Otherwise nations within the Union would squable as to who is in command, an issue that was raised during the Jakanian Civil War.

South Majatran New Members

The Majatran Union has always been North heavy with Barmenia, Beiteynu, and Cildania. But now it appears Jakania and Solentio will be joining the union within the year. Beiteynu's shadow foreign affairs ministry has been very successful in preserving the current union since Vanuku was lost, and has now added two more nations to the union. This will bring the MU to a total of six nations. Noticeably, Jakania and Solentio are both long standing Republics. Any foreign attacks on Jakania, as was done in the Jakanian Civil War, will automatically trigger a military response and all MU forces will be led by the Allied Commander. Deltaria will soon be in a shaky position with MU nations to its northwest, its south, and east. This has also been a great success for the Beiteynu shadow foreign affairs ministry for Jakania was one of the founding members of the MU Sanctions Treaty and has now completely reversed itself. With Deltaria, Cobura, and Zardugal signing the MU Sanctions treaty it appears there is a clear division within Majatra.
