Voting for bids will begin now and shall last until all 5 voting members (4 committees and Beiteynu) have voted. Each voter must vote for 1 city and the city that receives the most votes will be the winner.

OOC: No. No way. That makes so many loopholes in that voting system, it's not even funny. Like take a look at this situation:

If radkid (I don't think he would, but he can do it easily) wanted to always host the Olympics, in our current state, he can befriend only one of us and can cheat the system to where the games would be hosted there forever. This is just one example of why this can't work. If you really want to do it like that for 'those with short attention spans', make it where the previous host can vote this time around so he doesn't have two out of five votes this time OR remove that system all together.

OOC: Good point. We'll just do voting by rounds then, but we need to get this done so we have enough time to figure out how we'll RP this thing. We'll need about 4 or 5 people to RP the events.

Regrettably, the bid for Saint-Antoine must be withdrawn for the next Olympics. We no longer believe that the city and host nation would be able to adequately host the games for 3355, and instead will look to prepare for a bid for the following games.

Further (and I have to talk to my counterpart in Kanjor, who I believe will agree), would the IOC consider recognizing the Empire of Canrille as a NOC instead of Rildanor and Kanjor?

Bruniek noh Republika, Jertt Obseik, has submitted the initial vote of the Likatonjas Republika as the Seleyan Committee Chair:

The Likatonijas Republika votes to hold the Olympics IV at Yishelem, Beiteynu

OOC: Maybe committee chairs can help RP events, make it easier for the hosting nation? Regardless, I'm open to helping where needed.

OOC: That would be good since all the host nation has to do is really RP an opening and closing ceremony. In fact, if anybody wants to help, just mention it after we get done voting that way we can give out jobs.

OOC: I agree. I think that the system could work the way it is now as long as the host nation and the Commitee head, if they are both voting, vote for different nations. Thats why I chose to have two seperate people for each chair.
