Helios Conference - Majatran Brotherhood of Nations

The Wantuni Hegemony, noting the plethora of "union," "councils," "leagues," and "confederations" of Majatran nations whose leadership and whose purpose has never truly been the furtherance of the Majatran people, and noting the perpetual and detrimental imposition on the part of foreign peoples of their own agendas onto the Majatran populations of this glorious continent, calls for the creation of an international organization based on the principle of brotherhood between Majatran nations.

In the interest of the creation of such an organization, the Hegemony cordially invites representatives from each nation in Majatra with a Majatran government - Al'Badara, Jakania, Kafuristan, and Wantuni - to a conference in Helios, Wantuni, to discuss the creation and aims of a "Majatran Brotherhood of Nations."

The Majatran Republic of Kafuristan sends its Minister of Foreign and Majatran Affairs, General Habib Alfarsi, as its representative.

"Brothers, the Hegemony thanks you for your swift responses in this time of Majatran crisis. We appreciate your presence in Helios and certainly invite you to enjoy the fruits of our beautiful country.

"First and foremost our country wishes to openly express our gratitude to our Kafuri brothers in particular for their defense of the Wantuni people in the halls of the so-called 'Council of Majatra.' That body would be subtly manipulated by Solentian puppeteers if not for the careful vigilance of the Kafuri representation on the Council, and their support for the Majatran peoples has caused them to undergo considerable scrutiny from their supposedly-freedom-loving counterparts in Solentia and Zardugal. We also extend our deepest condolences to the three soldiers recently killed in Kafuristan by Kalopian terrorists. Such extremism cannot be tolerated.

"But enough of that!

"We face a crisis unprecedented! The Solentian and Zardugali warmongers seek to control all supranational Majatran bodies for their own benefit. The Solentians actively seek to exploit the oil wealth of Majatran nations through their 'Terran Oil Cartel,' and until now their exploits have gone unhindered. We propose that this should go on no longer!

"For too long have foreign interests funded extremists to destabilize our rightful Majatran governments. For too long have our democracies been meddled in by imperialists seeking access to our lands or our wealth. The world's imperialists have told us for thousands of years that Majatra does not belong to the Majatrans, that our people should be relegated in our own homes to a second class of citizenry. But no more. The Wantuni have risen to cast off our oppressors and we still fight the vestiges of that legacy today. We have begun a Majatran rebirth, one that the world's establishment has noted only with utter disdain and baseless threats. But we will not defer any longer. In Kafuristan our brothers stand with us in a battle against Solentian-backed Kalopian extremism. In Jakania the Majatran stands on the edge of modernity, ready to be pulled forward with the help of brotherly Majatran investment. In Badara a similar modernization is underway.

"Only together can we face the challenges arrayed against us and rise to create a continent friendly once more to the Majatran people, the Majatran language, and the Majatran culture. The Hegemony calls for the creation of an organization, known as the Majatran Brotherhood of Nations, that will allow for continued interaction between its brother-nations. The MBN will serve to mediate trade and investment; to further the Majatran people, language, and culture in Majatra and across Terra; to establish mutual defense pacts between its brother-nations; and to protect the rights of our Majatran brothers wherever they live.

"We welcome discussion on this Wantuni dream, and thank you for your presence."

"My Brothers, first of all, i would like to thank my Wantuni counterpart for his kind words, i am sure the families and comrades of the soldiers killed by Kalopian extremists will appreciate the support of their Majatran Brothers and Sisters. It is true that Kafuristan is a staunch defender of our Majatran Brothers in the Wantuni Hegemony. Although this has made us the target of the enemies of the Majatran People, we will not abandon our Wantuni Brothers.

The Government of the Majatran Republic of Kafuristan agrees that the Nations of the Majatran People need to stand together to battle our common enemies and move our countries forward towards prosperity and modernity".

"The Hegemony has taken the liberty of drafting a proposal of a treaty that, if ratified, will define the relationship of Majatran brother-nations.

"We ask out friends from each nation to peruse it and offer their critical opinion, suggested revisions to any articles or sections, and general thoughts on the draft.

"We look forward to hearing the thoughts of every nation."
