Chairman Gullimant rises:
"Thank you fellow delegates for your input. Without further delay and unless there be further objections resolutions 001 and 002 are hereby approved and entered into the record.
In my capacity as Zardic representative here I must state the following: we are very displeased over Wantuni. There is a stream of horrible human rights violations accusations coming from the nation and there conduct in dealing with the UMN in trying to resolve the matter is combative which only raises our ire. However Zardugal agrees we were perhaps too bellicose in the resolution and modify it as such:
Resolution 003: Concerning the Wantuni Hegemony
NOITNG the numerous and contradicting claims on the situation of human rights in the Wantuni Hegemony
Further Noting the bellicose attitude of the government of the Wantuni Hegemony towards the Union of Majatran Nations in the latters attempt to resolve the claims

The Council of Majatra hereby SUSPENDS the membership of the Wantuni Hegemony in the Union of Majatran Nations until such a time as they work with the Union and its designated bodies in resolving the claims of human rights violations in the country.

Though we feel that this still sends the wrong message, we will accept the compromise.
Cildania votes in favour of the amended resolutions.

"Cobura still rejects the amended resolution. Like the Cildanian delegate has stated,it still sends the wrong message. Talk should begin before any talk of suspending membership. This union was created to foster good relations and keep peace on our continent.

So,while it is most likely a futile vote,we refuse to conform to the current majority. We vote nay."

"Fellow delegates. A new government is now in charge in Wantuni and in my capacity as Chair I hereby invite them to the Council of Majatra and put the current resolution on hold.
In other affairs in my capacity as Zardic representative I file for discussion on the next set of items: expanding the Majatran Defense Community and encouraging ratification of the Majatran Anti-Slavery Accord. We will elaborate further if the Council sees no more petitions to discuss other topics."

The Pontesian government believes that the Council should instead promote the established and global League of Anti Slavery Nations as a more effective means to combat slavery. The Majatran Accord, while welcomed, does not take significant action against the actual slave trade itself.

"We concur with Pontesi as far as the Majatran Anti-Slavery accord, and agree with Wantuni in expanding the Majatran Defense Community.

We would also like to encourage all members of the Union to work out any struggles between them. This will make us strong internally and will keep us from falling apart."
