The Council should remain within its mandate, having an Anti-Slavery treaty purely between Council Members and with breaches of it resolved by the Council is within the remit of the Council, the imposition of a foreign international treaty is not.
A bill for the Ratification of this treaty will be brought before our Parliament.

On the Wantuni affair, It is our hope that the Chair will begin negotiations immediately with the K.M.E.O. to extend the hand of brotherhood and bring them to the Council.

Era Pranvera, Foreign Minister of the Provisional Government of the Central Majatran Federative Democratic Republic, has arrived.

"In the spirit of the revolution, I applaud the decision of the Chair to invite a representative from the K.M.E.O. Though the transition of power is still underway and many laws that violate basic human rights are yet to be removed from the books, it is the intention of the Provisional Government to make clear our deep commitment to Majatran unity both in theory and in practice. On the subject of slavery, the racist Totalitarian Hegemonies practice of slavery in Central Majatra will be stopped as soon as the legislative process allows, and until that time we cannot immediately sigh any treaty and would therefore wish the motion on slavery to be delayed for a few mouths. We support without reservation the expansion of the Majatran Defence Community."

"We would also suggest a motion formerly acknowledging the Central Majatran Federative Democratic Republic specifically as a member of Council of Majatra. The Democratic Republic of Wantuni, which is likewise still undergoing a transition of power, is a member of our Federation and as such will no longer take part in Council meetings as a independent power."

Chairman Gullmant speaks:
"My fellow nations this council should applaud the momentous progress being made in the former Wantuni Hegemony. Also with the current government coming out about past human rights abuses we can look forward and progress together as one. However it is in the Zardic view an official UMN investigation must be held and given changed circumstances will the new government be willing to allow a joint investigation led by the MHRC to look into the human rights abuses?

Also fellow delegates we encourage expansion of the MDC for all nations in the UMN. We must link together as one in a brotherhood of nations to ensure we can trust each other to help the other. By becoming more united and by protecting each other we can end the warfare the continent has been infamous for and work together to increase mutual prosperity and solidarity.

On a final note I motion this Council congratulate the progress and steps being taken in Pontsei and Selcuian relations as they work to end decades long tension and we should call for the Selucian Empire to take the steps to join the UMN to further boost Majatran unity."

"The Central Majatran Provisional Government would welcome a joint investigation. We intend to place as many Hegemonic war criminals on trial as possible, and a MHRC Investigation team would help this process greatly. Supporters of the Hegemony still deny a genocide ever took place, and the Central Majatran Provisional Government wishes to expose such revisionism for what it is."

OOC: I've been advised it's okay for Deltaria to just ratify the UMN Treaty. If you guys decide to kick us out, we can always withdraw from the Treaty to reflect our expulsion (or refusal of admission in the first place, or whatever).

Nothing would go further to put the unpleasantness of the last decade behind us and for Matatran Co-operation than the inclusion of Deltaria on the Council.
Cildania supports their entry and would encourage other delegates to do the same.

Cobura wholeheartedly supports Deltaria's entrance into the Union. It can only serve to unite our continent.
