Senator Clarke: With all due respect minimum wage is already set at a level where a person can support a family of four without falling below the poverty line and as far as I'm aware there are no laws that prevent those on welfare from getting jobs.

Mrs. Gonzalez: "With likewise due respect Mr. Clarke, there are in fact bylaws preventing certain program recipients from holding jobs and the minimum wage needs to be updated yearly to keep up with inflation. Under current law this does not happen."

In response to the violence outside of the Committee Building, FIA Agents have arrived to escort the Senators out of the building to a safer location. Rumor has it that the FIA plans to arrest certain key leaders of the UNP for involvement in terrorist activities.
