Conference on Religious Extremism

Postby redoct » Mon Jan 05, 2015 6:05 pm

With recent events in Lodamun it is clear that once again religious extremism threatens to destabilise Seleya. The Government of Valruzia invites the international community to discuss the possible options for maintaining the security of the region and protecting innocent civilians from the threat posed by these terrorists.

The Valruzian Government is prepared to intervene in Lodamun and offers the Lodamese Government military and intelligence support to bring these extremists to justice; however, we will only do so with the express permission of the Lodamese Presidium.

If once again, the Lodamese Presidium refuses to accept international support to quell this reoccurring problem it is crucial that the nations neighboring Lodamun (namely Likatonia, Valruzia, Baltusia and Kalistan) begin cooperating to ensure that the violence does not spill over the border. We propose the introduction of more stringent border checks and the sharing of intelligence information relating to the activities of religious extremists operating in the region.

We look forward to hearing your views.

Baltusia is deeply concerned with the current religious extremism in Lodamun we hope to end it diplomatically and peacefully. If this is not achieveable Baltusia will strengthen its boader controls on Lodamun though we will still allow all Commercial, Industrial and Trade operations to continue.

Baltusia would be happy to cooperate with neighbouring nations with regards to this issue.

We here in Beiteynu believe that the current uprising in Lodamun is a tradigy, this incident is a stain on religion everywhere. We demand that this Judas Abbasid immediately end his blasphemy as the Christ, or with the Presidium's permission Beiteynu shall end him with extreme prejudice.
