Foreign Minister Gerard Collier of the Federal Republic of Mordusia has formally called for a meeting of the International Prefecture Court of the League of Anti-Slavery Nations on the matter of Malivia. Nations who are members should post their statements here, especially concerning which nation should serve as Chairman of the Court for these proceedings, and where said proceedings should be held. Mordusia offers to host the conference, if other members are amenable.

Good Evening,

I am President Louis Choffet of Alduria and I rise today to motion to commence this conference on slavery. As part of this I motion that Mordusia, which has made great initiative in hosting this also chairs the conference. On that note, in our world today one would think that Slavery would be a remnant of an era of oppression gone by. However sadly this is not the case. I also rise today to propose a list of economic sanctions on the Malivian nation contingent on their slavery policy. We will wait to hear what other members have to say.

Greetings,

I am the Pontesian Imperial Chancellor Narek Barsamian, representing the Emperor's interests. To hear such grevious news that the slave trade is developing so close to Pontesi itself is troubling. Such barbaric practises must be stamped out. To such an end I, in the Emperor's name, support the establishment of economic sanctions proposed by President Choffet of Alduria. The Emperor would like to avoid starting a war and hopes that this and any other issues will be resolved peacefully. That said, should such peaceful measures fail to address such issues, we may have to resort to less pleasant measures. However untill such time we must rely on peaceful measures. Mirroring the sentiment of the Aldurian President, I will wait and see what the other members have to say on the issue.

We are grateful today to have nations supporting this multilateral institution's efforts, especially with the interests of maintaining a peaceful stance in our exhaustive efforts to halt the abhorrent act of slavery that is now being allowed within Malivia's borders. We support sanctions on the regime and would further suggest that we consider travel restrictions on vessels leaving Malivia that may contain humans being trafficked and sold.

Mordusia accepts nomination for Chair of the IPC for the matters of these investigations and will await other nations input to see when a vote can be held, once other candidates are named.

The actions of Malivia's new regime are unforgivable. Kanjor supports any and all measures against them, until such a time when they review their policies or are removed from power entirely. We hope the Chairman, and this Assembly, will be swift and decisive in dealing with the problem.

Sanctions Resolution of the League

Be it resolved by this International Prefecture Court that the nation of Malivia has been found in violation of upholding the most basic of human rights by enslaving people. The League, being dedicated in its mission to provide for a world free from the abhorrence of slavery, calls upon Malivia to turn course to join the international community.

Until such time as the League has found Malivia to be in compliance, we, the assembled nations of the League of Anti-Slavery Nations, declare the following to be in effect, emphasizing our mutual cooperation and dedication to their fulfillment:

1. All trade with the nation of Malivia, save for those of essential food stuffs and medical goods, is immediately ceased.

2. All Malivian vessels are subject to search if they enter the territorial waters of any member of the League. Those found carrying humans being sold or trafficked shall be subject to immediate seizure.

3. All funds held in those accounts held by government officials, including the self-styled leader of the revolution, are hereby frozen in all members of the League. The freedom of movement is hereby denied by member nations.

4. Should Malivia not alter its course to the satisfaction of this Court assembled, the Court holds that further action may be taken to address the issue.

Please, think about the consequence of the actions you are going to do, the problem is that Malivia got a government, it is that Malivia got no government, instead, we got overtaken by a big corporation who seem to run the country instead of the government,. there are no more service, no more court, no more food inspection, nothing, People are failling sick very fast, animal are dying, you don't get the big problem, it is a true apocalypse. so Instead of sanctioning Malivia and destroying the black Market which keep my people alive in this sad time, can we place a real government.

Beside, i request that we port assistance to Yugi irving, I believe he might just have been a slave instead of the true leader, he's in a coma, and if he never wake up, we will never get his version. they even claim he was a statist.
