Conference on Dundorfian entry into CARSS (Čachtice)

Postby Rogue » Thu Feb 07, 2019 8:15 pm

Radoslav Fišer, Foreign Minister of Deltaria

We welcome the Dundorfian delegation into our capital of Čachtice. We are here to discuss a possible entry of Dundorf into the Coalition of Revolutionary Socialist States.

First of all i would like to ask the dundorfian delegation: what is the reason for the desire to enter into CARSS? What does Dundorf hope to achieve by entering?

Oliver Riesz, Foreign Minister of Dundorf

On the question of why our nation wishes to join this organization, our answer is simple. Both our countries share the cause of socialism and internationalism and as such, it is not only natural but inevitable that our nation would seek interactions with fellow socialist brother states, and the rest of Terra proper.

We hope to achieve close diplomatic and economic cooperation, with the aimed of strengthening our position on the Artanian continent and our two nations being shining beacons of socialism the world over. I am looking forward to military ties between our two nations as well, to naturally protect our nation and develop a strong military.

Deltaria would be glad to welcome another socialist state into the organization. We believe that Dundorf would make a fine addition to the coalition and hope that by including you into our organization we can encourage other states on the verge of exploring socialism to do the same.

Now another question, as you may have noticed in our capital our government, in the quest to create a strong, flexible and diverse economy capable of maintaining and fascilitating our military ambitions and desires for the people, has embraced a mixed economic model, allowing a large role for the private sector while maintaining a strong pressence with publicly owned companies as well. Is Dundorf understanding towards our choice for this model?

The Metzist Republic of Dundorf is fully understanding of Deltaria's choice for a mixed economy. Our own policy in the fatherland is only somewhat different, with instead a more larger presence of publicly owned industries being dominant, As it is what Metz advocated for. However, we also believe in cooperation with the outside world regardless if the nation is a fellow socialist nation, such as yourself, or a wholly capitalist state.

As such, we are heavily driven towards the attraction of foreign investment to allow growth by whatever means necessary, be it tourism or investment of our newly established "Publicly-owned Enterprise" model of ownership.

Very well, after some deliberation overnight with the president i can congratulate you, you are free to join the CARSS organization and ratify its treaty and provisions. In addition to this the Deltarian state would like to give significant aid through CARSS to Dundorf in order to strengthen the dundorfian economy after all those years of instability and decay.

We offer 10 billion DTE a year to dundorf for the duration of 5 years, this money will be used for new infrstructure programs, urban development and as a stimulus for economic growth. In addition to this economic aid Deltaria would like to house a permanent military base in Dundorf garissoned by around 500 deltarian soldiers.

AND Deltaria would like to launch the first joint military exercise of the organization together with Dundorf. This exercise would be held in Dundorf itself and will include both air and ground components. We will be sending military advisors to these exercises as well to examine the dundorfian army peformance and give advice on what to improve etc.

Let me know what your government thinks of all of this

We are extremely pleased with the Deltaria's decision to grant us allowance to join CARSS. Our government will ratify the treay within the coming hours. On behalf of the Dundorfian foreign office, we also wholly accept the economic and military aid proposals suggested by you.

Let us build a strong alliance together and further the development of socialism the world over.
Workers of the world, unite!
