The time has come for the fifth edition of the hit worldwide music festival, FOMAT, to be held rock the soundwaves of Terra. Held in Imari Stadium in the middle of the beautiful Liori savanna, FOMAT-V will broadcast throughout Terra and share the sounds six competitors and of the Liori people themselves.

Welcome folks to FOMAT-V, and to the great nation of Liore. I hope the sight of our glorious countryside has not overwhelmed your senses, because tonight we have an excellent selection of artists from across Terra who have come to bless our ears with their sounds. But before we get into the contestants, the winner of FOMAT-IV, Sauti Liore will open the show on behalf of Liore.

Now folks, that's the end of the show. Again, Liore was honored to have these six skilled artists perform in our nation. We look forward to FOMAT-VI, which will be hosted five years from now in Kalistan.

Now that we've heard the best song of the night, let's move on to our contestants, and boy do we have a strong starter. Our first contestant of the night takes a new and modern take on classical music.

Starting the night, we have Endralon's BorBot performing his song Ode to Gladness:


Quite a skilled man, I have a feeling he'll do good, then again I'm yet to hear the other performances. Anyway, we move on to contestant number two, from a newcomer nation to FOMAT.

Continuing the show, we have Kundrati's Zuri who will be performing It Started With a Whisper:


Wow, I don't know about you, but those zombies spooked me. Now unlike our previous performance, up next we have a respected regular to FOMAT.

Now presenting contestant number three, Deltaria's MIRA with Diamond Rich:


Well, I can tell you my ears are feeling diamond rich after listening to that. Next up we have a boy band from one of the absurd number of Canrillaise countries.

Contestant number four is Kanjor's Kaulia performing But Still You


I don't mean to let you all down, but that's the end of the song. Coming up to the pitching mound is another FOMAT regular, and a band full of funky groove .

Our fifth contestant of the night is Kalistan's D'Ante and the Revolutionaries who will be playing You Can't Leave Me:


I'm afraid I do have to leave this song, as we're moving on to our sixth and final contestant of the night is a hit duo in their home country.

Now ladies and gentlemen, though that may be the last of the contestants, we have one last act from Liore here to close the show. May I present the guitar master Ashur Jang with his take on the classic Berto Rotolo song How Does it Feel:

Ladies and gentlemen, it's the moment you've all been waiting for. The scores for FOMAT-V are in. Before I read them out, let me just say that all performances today were of tremendous talent, and that scoring for the contest was incredibly difficult.

Now, in sixth place, our last winner, we have a performance popular among the audience but didn't quite impress the judges.
In sixth place, we have Kanjor's Kaulia!

Our fifth place spot narrowly beats Kaulia among the judges for their instrumental skill.
In fifth place, we have Istalia's El&ila!

Moving on to fourth, we have a performance that was an instant audience hit, especially among foreign tourists, and a display of techno skill.
In fourth place, we have Deltaria's MIRA!

Third place was clawed its way closely to its position, receiving one of the largest amounts of audience votes likely to its upbeat and catchy tune.
In third place, we have Kundrati's Zuri!

Now, first and second place are two of the greatest songs to resonate across the Liori savanna. Though in a perfect world, both of these performances would have reached first place, there can only be one. Second place received a near perfect score among the judges (and the highest judge score in the contest) for the prowess and innovation of the artist. First place, on the other hand, was a slam dunk among the audience, especially the Liori crowd, which propelled it to number one. Congratulations to both Endralon and Kalistan for their performances, we were honored to have both of your artists.

Now, enough stalling.

FOMAT Vl TO BE HELD IN DOLGAVA



After years of stalling and misguided attempts FOMAT of the Terran wide music competition event has been scheduled to be in Akiums, Dolgavia to help restart the Dolgavian economy. The organizers for the world renown contest showed increased interest in helping the struggling Dolgavian economy by bringing on of Terra's largest events to fruition. Aikums is the birthplace for Dolgavian rock and roll and in past centuries a leading capital of trade and commerce. There is not comment from Dolgavian officials at this time for their country being picked but it is good to go in Aikums and it will be a race to see how many countries get their renown artists in. There is nothing much else to say except, may the best band win!!!

OOC: Note Submissions start from now to Friday and on either Saturday or Sunday the big reveal post will be made. Then the winning country has the honor of hosting the next FOMAT so Good Luck!!!
